Always wired in my opinion although a home that isn’t wired during construction is hard to get installed in exact locations. You can’t go wrong with POE.
Some people who knows internet and security are prefer to use in-house cctv system. There plenty out there and plenty tutorial on TH-cam too But, if you prefer simplicity, no knowledge of IT and stuffs, or don't bother to learn or just fine with Ring service and the cons, use the simple one.
Glad I’m going with a proper IP camera system that uses POE and an NVR. Jamming the camera is impossible and cutting the ISP fiber optic cable will not prevent any evidence to be held against the burglar(s). Cutting the power won’t stop the cameras either. Also the videos are timed stamped so if a rental car is used for the crime we can trace back whoever rented the car for the crime so not only will they receive felony records they will also be blacked from that car rental agency.
Wireless is by far the worst. It’s not secure, anyone can hack it and see what you see as well as take control of the device. All the info they need to do so is public knowledge online. Always go Hardwired. Never ever ever chose wireless anything for security.
Any that dont require the use of wifi? I have a ring and if we forget to pay our bill and the wifi goes out the camera stops working.. along with some other issues like not being able to backup recordings.. its really useless.
POE is internet = power over ethernet, if your internet goes out so does your camera wired annaloge is best you dont need an internet connection to run the cameras they run of a mains power supply.

@@oojimmyflip wrong, as long as the camera has a connection to the local network, it will still be able to record although it won‘t be able to upload recordings to the cloud. Ethernet isn‘t internet. Also, AV cameras are limited to 720p while Ethernet supports 4k which might be helpful for making out important details. Additionally, the maximum link length for AV is 50m (165ft) and for Ethernet it‘s 100m (330ft) although both strongly depends on the cable quality.
Wow you mean wireless ones don't have wires and wired ones DO!? Holy shit thank you for this insightful and useful video! Could you maybe make a follow up on what you're supposed to do after inhaling? I always forget what comes next.
Ring sucks as far as zooming in The image is NOT clear. Ring will tell you move router closer or clean the camera lens. Really! Do they think everyone is stupid!? Unfortunately I paid for a years subscription. Get a camera with optical lens. Surveillance cameras with optical zoom.
I want wired I’m getting a wired sensor because I’m haveing a wired siren today and how am I supposed to do it wireless if it’s only red and black and I can’t find a x2 1 unit wired to wireless converter to match the panel connection type
What I'm looking for is one that continuously records When there is activity Not just 2 minute clips and that notifies you when something is there
CCTV
Go a hardwire system, something like hikvision, they make great cameras and network recorders (nvr)
when i type CCTV camera in amazon i get lotssss of different results :(@@Youngerthuggg
Actually, look into NVR. Cctv is outdated
@@Youngerthugggvery hard to hack as well!

POE Cameras and you forget about batteries, jamming, and interferences. Its cost a bit more to install all the wires but its worth
My wireless one sucks. Movement detected, then it takes like 20sec to start recording. By then you just see the person's feet as the walk out of shot.
Wired is always best for connection/quality
What kind of security cameras can't be hacked?
My friends hosue has wifi cameras but the fiber optic cable to her home wifi was cut and the cameras couldn’t catch the break in that happened
Happened to me with these shitty wifi cameras

Btw for some wired cameras that use Ethernet cables you don’t need a power outlet as you can use POE (power over Ethernet
Even if the don’t utilize POE, there are POE injectors you can buy that will convert it to POE.

Some point the wireless camera or doorbell can be hacked but the wired no
They can use WiFi blockers
Both because I have ring spotlight cam wired and battery and stick up cam
Wired, I actually enjoy running my own Ethernet cable and crimping it to any length I need.
How do you go about doing that? I need to learn! I just imagine hard wired cameras are a big hassle...🫤
I need something both if the breaker is off from à room . Need something that the camera self record on a battery mode emergency.
PoE wired because WiFi cameras are subject to interference and jamming. Plus that you can additionally install access points altogether.
What brand offers that? What if you have no internet ethernet? What about a backup battery and backup sd card?

For my camera, how are use solar panels?
What about the best audio for the cameras?
I’m going with Ring because they got a lot of features you need. They got some good stuff.
Eufy is better no subscription

Wireless ring indoor outdoor cam is spot on,you can remix these cams very versatile
Wireless anything can be signal jammed or Hacked.

I use batteries on my ring cameras with solar panels connected to them. I love the fact that I don’t have to recharge the batteries.
How did you rig that?
The best way to use them
What's the name of the first 2 cameras in the video
1st was the wired one (lorex) 2nd was wireless (ring)
Thank you
or some companies have solar panel's that can charge the battery of the device
Wired
Wireless is unsafe. You can simply turn off the wifi using a deauth attack and they’re useless. Go with wired
Do they have non wifi ability?
you forgot wireless solar

Or use a solar panel
Go with wired cameras because thieves can’t shut them off
