Maxime K-G Only if you have a good PC. My PC can't handle the insane traffic simulation past about 20,000 population or so. I zoom in on my industrial sector and the game automatically crashes. It's a pity, because it's the only game I own that would justify upgrading my PC.
I thought so too, then I noticed that they put a lot of time and effort to their cities. This city took 360 hours, the creator claimed. That's 15 days!
Start using mods, color correction LUTs, skyscraper assets and leave some open spaces in cities. What I always ended up doing was building everything in a continuous block. Everything district was literally right next to other district. This creates traffic problems and makes cities look unrealistic. Lastly, don't forget to run the simulation in full speed whenever you're just waiting for buildings and population to come up.

Thank god there is one cities skylines youtuber that understands the true size of a city. Most youtubers make a city less than one square mile and call it a massive city. We need more youtubers that dont spend half of eternity detailing the shit out of their little town and making their fps less than 10 by the time they have 50k people. If you are trying to create a massive city you dont need to install 6 million trees and street signs to make changes that nobody would notice. Obviously you still need a mega pc to run this, but the fps on this would probably be similar to a lot of youtubers 50k cities that dont even look much better than this. If you have a good pc like most youtubers do by now, dont waste your fps on trees and props.

I love and hate watching videos like this at the same time, they make me feel motivated to work with my city but at the same time I know it will never be even close to as awesome as this. Amazing city, it must have taken hundreds of hours of gameplay and tons of patience, it just makes my city look so small and simplistic. Keep it up!

This is a great city and you have selected a lot of really excellent mods which enhance it to the max. Would love if you talked a bit in the description about how you went about creating it. Would also be great to see what mods you are using, especially the asset ones for the canals, elevated highways and railways, marinas, etc!
JustJay I was thinking the same thing. The only problem is the actual size of the map. I mean the city itself is already probably bigger than the whole GTA V map and add the wilderness of the map and the other possible cities or villages... The map have to be like 20-30 times bigger than the GTA V one. Probably bigger even than Fuel's map (Fuel is a game with an enormous map if you're wondering). This game will be the end of our computers 😂😂😂
Too big for a gta game :( console/Pc aren't capable to afford all those trees, and buildings (Ultra high detailed like on a gta game from this age), remeber too, that in gta all the buildings are diferent, in Cities skylines a simple house could be reprated at least a 50 times for a city that big, and i would say more... It would be nice but it's impossible, at least with actually technology

It's amazing to see where modern computers have achieved. This city has 360k households and the fact that Cities Skylines assigns 1 bot per household is insane! This means this project has 360,000+ bots roaming around with their own assigned tasks.
This is absolutely crazy my mind is blown by this city it is amazing also considering you we're actually able to get city skylines traffic to flow smoothly
