I don't think people realize why he responded with at minute 3:50 "Are you refuting what I just said?" Because he already read her mind and master Muzan knows her words are just empty but most importantly when she said "No! Thtas not true!" When in fact it was and that's why he got pissed.
The one thing that I do love about the show because there's not a lot to actually like is that the villains generally tend to be more interesting than the main characters. The last of the lower moons was very smart. Not because they were a kiss ass, but because they knew how to respond because of everything that happened before them. He heard what the other demons were thinking because muzan said it out loud. And he knew from the things that they said that weren't in their own heads what he didn't want to hear. And finally he already knows what kind of person muzan is.
I think Enmu was twisted enough to be genuine in his happiness being left last standing just to see the suffering and didn't care about dying either. Muzan can read their minds and is probably too smart to be flattered disingenuously like a lot theorize.
So...the only demons he truly appreciates are the most insane ones, as those don't care about their own lives, and all they wish is to fulfill their purpose until Muzan decides they're no longer useful, since it keeps their empty souls entertained. Is that it ?

Like let's say some of the ****** deaths but I respect the people who have the patience to wait for an anime finished series rather than reading the manga that was already finished more than a year ago
