The clan leader of the Quagoa has a special skill, Shout, that buffs his underlings and removes all fear, which is why those warriors were just running without any thought of retreat into the shredder that was Shalltear. Iirc, in the light novels he did try to surrender towards the end of the initial talks when he saw how confident they were, but Shalltear turned him down at that point and gave him the hard limits. She also told him to wear something that would distinguish him and anyone else he wanted to save since she couldn’t really tell them apart. Anime also thankfully cut out the part where the kids started screaming in fear as the remaining Quagoa warriors started slaughtering them to get the numbers down to the proscribed levels. Also of note: Aura used the world item she carries on her back to trap the Quagoa (the scroll she unfurled). It traps the targets into one of a variety of available environments, many of which are randomly generated, each with a different maze like layout and environmental dangers. There is always at least one exit, and if the trapped parties can reach the exit before dying then they gain control of that world item, which is how Ainz’s clan obtained the item. The environment Aura selected was one of the consistent environments that always had the same layout and more importantly the same exit location. Aura chose that so she could have the Hanzos that Ainz brought with them guard that exit to make sure no one could leave and steal the item. Aura and Shalltear also waited until after verifying all Quagoa were trapped in said item before going in themselves, to make sure that no-one there had their own World Item, which would have prevented them from getting caught in the trap. Funny side note: the clan that used the world item to trap the Ainz guild messaged them afterwards, begging that they return the world item to them. Ainz and his guild mates just laughed at them and asked who would be so dumb as to return a world item to a team that used it so foolishly?
Considering what the quoga were planning on doing to the dwarves (wipe them out/eat them) you really shouldn’t feel that bad for them. Ainz was merciful in comparison. 10,000 of them alive whereas they would’ve left 0 dwarfs alive. I get it though.
Exactly. Riyuro was attempting to play the long game in hopes that they could raise more Hero level Quagoa like himself to overthrow the Frost Dragons for good. And the first step to doing so was annihilated the drawers and taking all of their minerals.
Yeah ainz even give the dragons chance to submit or die Taking the dwarves capital and killing them till theyre gone i mean other people if they have ainz power would wipe them out clean. But yet he just male them his subordinate
@ MasterEpsilon Yeah, Riyuro planned on overthrowing the frost dragons eventually. Then when he told his men to go through with the selection of Quagoa to be spared he did so under the pretext that in time their descendants would one day grow numerous and powerful enough to over throw their new rulers. However deep down he knew that was just false hope. Given the overwhelming power Shalltear displayed he wisely knew that their race could never overthrow such monsters in any generation.
Riyuro gave voice to a mighty cry. It was a cry infused with the skill he had obtained when he had ascended to the position of Clan Lord. As he saw his army of over 10’000 charge the enemy in response to the cry, he even felt a little pleased. However, the results of that charge were too horrible to watch. Like a flow of water striking a wall, the charging soldiers struck an invisible barrier and were sent flying. What splashed everywhere was not frothy water, but Quagoa ─ or what used to be Quagoa. Perhaps a sight like this would be fitting of Dragons or Giants, but their opponents were creatures that were even smaller than Quagoa. “They’re flying…” one of his aides muttered dumbly to himself. This was not a metaphor. The charging Quagoa were literally flying through the air. Neither did they do so one by one. Several dozens of them were sent flying all at once. Their pulverized corpses became a shower of meaty chunks which rained down on their comrades. The gore-caked troops continued their charge, whereupon they become lumps of flesh themselves which fell on yet more of their companions. It was a scene straight out of a nightmare. For some reason, the fact that they could not see any blood spurting made the sight even more surreal. “What, what the, what the hell is that?!” Riyuro did not even have the strength to answer his advisor’s mournful cry. His thoughts merely leaked out through his mouth in the form of words. “This many…” “Clan Lord! What is that!? It’s nothing like the Golems we saw before!” They smashed away every single Quagoa charging them in a single blow. This was no longer a battle. It was not even a massacre. It was simply disposal. The comrades he had gathered to increase their influence were now being mangled up in vast quantities like so much rubbish. “We, we have to run!” “Where will you run to?!” He shouted at his panicked aides. “Where can you run to in this strange dimension?! These people said they’re going to kill us until there’s only 10000 of us left!” His aides had nothing to say. After seeing this overwhelming ─ this monstrous strength, they understood that their threats were not a joke. While it was hard to believe, they had no choice but to believe it. Out of their 80000 citizens, only 10000 would be permitted to survive. Although he wanted to beg their forgiveness right now, there was no warmth in the eyes of those two. Even that Dragon Lord’s eyes held more compassion. They have no intention of changing their statement to cut us down to 10000 people. “That’s impossible! Clan Lord! What the hell are they? What have the Dwarves brought here?!” “Why are such tiny people so powerful…” As he heard his advisors, another flash of inspiration struck Riyuro. “Could it be that red-armored chap is also a Dwarven weapon? They sent something stronger because they knew the Golems were destroyed?” “...So if we defeat it, they’ll send something even stronger than that?” The cries of his men echoed all around. Only the region around Riyuro was silent. “Let’s pull the men back─” “Stop! They have to fight! There’s no other way out for us! However strong it is, it’ll get tired eventually! When that happens, we’ll wait until it can’t swing its weapon any more, then force them to negotiate and demand concessions from them!” “I, I see… But… Will it really get tired?” He had mentioned something Riyuro had thought of in the corner of his mind. However─ “In any case, as long as it lives, it ought to get tired. It might have more stamina than us, but it’ll definitely get tired. Until then, make it keep swinging its weapon! ...Even if it doesn’t get tired, once it gets bored of killing we might be able to discuss something.” The Clan Lord was reluctant to speak the words which came next, but they had to be said. “Besides, we can’t win even if we fight it! Not against a monster like that.” His troops would not be demoralized to the point of flight. The cry Riyuro had used to sound the charge turned his men into warriors that did not know fear. Much like the Berserk state of Berserkers, it increased their attack strength but reduced their defense. More importantly, they were immune to all fear-related effects. However, the fact that they would not refuse the Clan Lord’s orders no matter how dangerous they were could be said to be a double-edged sword. The great mass of soldiers continued charging without ever looking back, and they were cut down to half their previous number with such swiftness that hardly anyone could believe it. At this point, nobody had the strength to speak. The fact that this tragedy was unfolding before them and it was the doing of one person traumatized their hearts. All except for one person. That person ─ Riyuro ─ scraped up the last of his courage. “You chosen heroes!” He could not raise his voice. Riyuro saw the Red and Blue Quagoa before him, as well as the other Quagoa with special abilities, all of whom had been formed up into the strongest combat units of the clans. The reason why none of them responded to Riyuro’s cry was because they were all watching that suit of red armor with despair in their eyes. They too must have felt that they had no hope of victory. When they had first been gathered, their eyes had shone, but now there was no light in their eyes, as though they were dead. He had chosen not to drive them berserk to preserve their defensive strength, but it had been the wrong decision. The Clan Lord raised his voice to try and psyche them up. “You are our ace in the hole! The enemy has killed many of our comrades, so it should be tired! You will be able to make it suffer!” It ought to be tired ─ he said that, but there was no sign of it. That red suit of armor showed no signs of stopping as it cut every single Quagoa which charged it to pieces and sent the chunks flying into the air, swinging and thrusting its strange lance-like weapon without end. “That’s right! No matter what, it’s living, so it’ll get tired! You can do it! Go! Our heroes!” WIth a prayer in his heart, Riyuro sent out those heroes. He gave his men orders to clear the path to the red suit of armor. Then, the heroes would assault the red armor─ ─Riyuro closed his eyes. “My, my Lord… Mighty Clan Lord of us all…” After hearing his aides’ trembling voices, he slowly opened his eyes. “You… you don’t need to say anything. I know. I, I saw it too…” Nothing had changed. That was right. It had made no difference. Just like the regular soldiers, the chosen heroes had been chopped into mincemeat and sent flying as lumps of flesh. And it had all happened in an instant. They had met the same end as the regular soldiers. “...So… so…” Riyuro could not say anything else. Although he did not know what that red suit of armor was, it was something which was undoubtedly stronger than a Dragon. Riyuro could no longer feel anything. If he simply waited quietly for time to pass, the outcome would be as the enemy willed it. “...said they wanted 2000 children. Pick out that amount.” “My Lord…: “...There’s nothing else we can do. Even if there’s only 10000 of us, as long as we survive, someday… someday, we can make the Quagoa great again…” Nobody could say anything in the face of Riyuro’s words. That was because everyone clearly understood in their hearts. They understood that there was nothing else they could do. Riyuro’s head drooped powerlessly. It was as though he had been walking in a safe place, and then suddenly ambushed by a monster.. “Speaking of which, what is the Sorcerous Kingdom, anyway? Does it have anything to do with the Dwarves? Someone please tell me…” His muttering came straight from the heart. However much he tried to deny it, the carnage before his eyes gave him the feeling that an even greater tragedy would soon come. Suddenly, he saw his Quagoa servants holding cages, Those were the cages used for storing food lizards. Riyuro knew that now was not the time for this, but the stress on him made him reach out to the cage. He grabbed a live lizard, but just as he was about to bite its head off, an intense pain coursed through his belly, bending his body into a ㄑshape. There was no way he could beat the absolute ruler who would soon subjugate his race. The idea of flourishing again was so outlandish that even he had nothing to say in its defense. No matter how many generations passed, they would never be able to rise up in revolt. The Quagoa of the Azellisia Mountain Range would forever wear collars in service to their dreaded master. The wildly-thrashing lizard slipped from Riyuro’s hands and vanished between his men’s legs. Riyuro went “ahh” in what was more a sigh than a shout, and then he collapsed into silent sobbing from sheer misery. “If you were that strong, you should have said so in the first place! Why, why didn’t you tell me!” The whimpering of the Quagoa Lord, hailed by his people as the greatest ruler in their history, blended with the screams of the children as his own soldiers butchered them.
I'm glad you understand their perspective as well. It's easy to get lost since we mainly see the Bone Clan, but to an outsider's perspective, you're 100% right, they're just 2 people
Ainz agreed to leave the majority of the Treasury’s treasure to the dwarves, however nothing in their deal mentioned anything about the runecraft records that Gondo wished to steal or the “dragon lord’s” personal treasure. Also this “dragon lord” was only level 46, a true dragon lord would not have been defeated so easily.
Don't worry. I understand where you're coming from. It's a catch 22. Letting a strong player know what your capable of is a bad move, but hiding your strength causes incidents like this. Same as the Kingdom. They had no idea what they were up against. Ultimately this works out better for Nazerick though. Sadly the weaklings get screwed. RIP Head Warrior. The dwarf kingdom is a little different than the others Ainz has conquered as their only relationship is a trade one. He wanted a kingdom with positive relations to increase the legitmacy of the Sorcerer's kingdom. The Re-estelize kingdom, while still seperate suffered massive damage from the war so having a trade relation with them isn't nearly as convincing. If a character survives the grasp heart insta-kill check then it just does damage. That's one of the reason's ainz likes it so much. Even if it's effect fails it's still quite useful. love the reaction.
Dragons are strong, they grow stronger with age, so ainz didn't want to make any mistake, and he also needed their body parts to be intact, so he used grasp heart in this episode. Grasp heart is a 9th tier spell that can kill anyone without instant death resistance, and if the enemy is strong it will instead stun them. So ainz used this magic because they might turn out to be strong, so he needed that free time after they were affected by that stun effect to spam other high damage output spells on the target. For quagua: ainz actually didn't know how to add 60k of their race to his kingdom, he didn't want to add mord work load for albedo and demiurge, so he asked shalltear to reduce their numbers if they didn't submit. Don't forget those quagua were about to genocide the whole dwarge race, they didn't plan to leave a single one alive.
Pe Riyuro is considered a Hero for his race at level 38. He lets the individual clans run themselves, just as long as they report to him. He is essentially the Genghis Khan of his people. Feo Berkana, where the Frost Dragons live, used to be the home of the Dwarf King. White Dragon Lord and one of his wives destroyed Feo Teiwaz, the western city, in a territory battle. Dragons don't usually live together. White Dragon Lord is building up a family because he wants to establish a Frost Dragon empire across the entire mounting range, but cannot do it alone because there is one problematic rival race. Unfortunately, the anime skipped over this, but White Dragon Lord is seriously abusive to Hejinmal, mocks him for his body, calls him a dragon-pig, and threatens to throw him out of the castle because he doesn't consider him to be what a real dragon should be.
Also Demiurge’s presumption of Ainz’s master plan to use his undead labor force as a long term means to take over the world was actually based on previous events that were omitted from the anime. Basically since Ainz took over E-Rantel he had the impoverished living in the slums vacate that district and rebuild the devastated farming villages outside of the city walls. They were to use undead loaned out by Ainz for all manual labor and raise their villages into safe sustainable settlements by a set amount of months. This prospect yielded such promising results that Ainz offered rentable undead laborers for various projects from agriculture to security and construction. Then in the negotiations with the dwarves Ainz offered this undead labor force as untiring workers that could dig in the mines without rest or risk of dying from black lung or other mining hazards. This was supposed to be the pretext for Demiurge’s assumption, but instead the anime portrayed it as just a random comment.
He actually can’t use the treasury because he wants to have friendly relations with the dwarves country. So he just took one item from it after making sure they didn’t keep a registry
They need to kill the quagoa to control them better, this was the best move. Also remember they were going to kill every single living dwarf so this is quite generous in comparison
Yeah the Quagoa even stationed that group in the abandoned Dwarven city to massacre any fleeing survivors. They would’ve spared no one. Ainz’s offer was far more merciful by comparison.
Ainz wasn’t just being an ahole or joking when he was talking about the many uses for dragon parts in front of Hejinmal. He was legitimately just thinking out loud, lol. Ainz also wasn’t giving Hejinmal an out when he said that stuff about three mothers. He thought that actually might be the case. Worth noting, the other two weren’t all that nice to Hejinmal and he didn’t particularly like them. His own mother also wasn’t particularly affectionate. But he didn’t want to see any of them die so he sprang on that chance and also put them a little under his thumb in doing so since he saved their lives. The anime also cut out just how oppressive and terrifying Aura’s presence was when she was cowing him. He really thought he would die from the terror alone, hence the bladder release. Ainz could have blown open the vault or opened it some other way, but no way that wouldn’t have been so quick and undetectable. He wasn’t going to loot the whole thing, just a few pieces that might catch his fancy including the rune crafting book, since he wanted the Dwarves’ gratitude, and was going to close the door unharmed since he didn’t want them to wonder if he’d stolen everything himself.
"Why didn't you all just submit?" The Light Novel source makes it more clear, but Pe Riyuro, the clan lord was actually in favour of just submitting because he's actually an extremely smart leader for his kind. The problem is that he's being asked to submit by two tiny girls. A lot of people in his clans will be slow to submit or might even rebel or make ruckus about it. What he was asking for was extremely reasonable: a display of their army or their own power, just to get the others to see what he could infer himself. That would have saved a lot more of his people (because they'd be less likely to rebel)... or so he thought. Personally, I thought he was actually pretty reasonable/thoughtful. (The Author of the series himself stated that he personally ranks Riyuro extremely highly as a leader.) The problem/fault was in how bull-headed the Nazarick NPCs are when Ainz is around. This part of the story gave us a big contrast to how Ainz and the NPCs are. Ainz may be brutal himself, but he can actually be reasoned with. Even though the Frost Dragon Lord leader insulted him, he didn't just completely cull the frost dragon population for it. Clanlord Pe Riyuro barely got even a second to think about things. He took a second too long to respond because he was so shocked that Shalltear would so matter-of-factly talk about how she would cull 80%+ of his people. Also, the quagoa aren't actually all that dumb. At the point where Shalltear already made up her mind to cull the quagoa, Riyuro had no options left. He needed to cull his own population and was essentially giving his own warriors a painless death. It was explained in the novel that what he used in the anime (that loud cry) was a warcry that made his troops go berserk and become fearless. It's a special ability he had as clanlord. It's essentially a painless death that offers them some glory. That's why it seemed the quagoa were so blindly charging into that bloody blender.
The agreement with the dwarves wasn't so that the sorcerer kingdom had exclusive rights to buy runecraft weapons. It was that they would have all the dwarves capable of runecraft move to the sorcerer kingdom and the sorcerer kingdom would be the only place manufacturing runecraft weapons.
There are different level of dragons those that have lived longer are stronger. These are younger dragons and the Dragon lord only thought about physical strength over book smarts. That was the main reason he died. He's son looked at them an not only knew that Aniz was strong and could use fire base attacks that they we weak to. Plus the fact that they weren't scared at all said a lot . Being that it was just the 4 of them.
There are no spoilers, but there are a few things we don't see in this arc. The creatures of the Tomb of Nazaril don't see other creatures as people, Ains is the only one who thinks about building a place for other races, for him his friends and the people of Nazaril are like family and the rest of the world is less important but still so they can do business. In the books this dwarf arc has a lot of development on Shaltear and we see how Ains is trying to teach Shealter not to succumb to freenzi blood and to think more, but we don't see Qoagua being belligerent, Qoagua trying to destroy the Dwarf, for Ains the Dwarves are more valuable and easier to do business with than Qoagua. The last part, Ains is driven by 2 things, one is his love/obsession for Nazaril and his friends, basic Ains is trying to build a Utopia to make his name known on a global scale so maybe one of his friends will show up, and the other doesn't show how average he is, Ains doesn't think the Guardian will betray him, but he thinks they might be disappointed if they find out, to him they're like children and he's their guardian or something.
I know it seems it’s Demiurges who bring that despair, but at the end of the day, Ainz agrees with him. They do have the same karma level, and there are times where Ainz is even more ruthless than Demiurges
This is not a spoiler since it was mentioned in that Slane Theocracy counsel meeting. There's a catastrophic event that happens every hundred years and they theorized that Ainz was one of them. If you piece them together, you'll know that there are others, hundreds of years before him. Also, some information are skipped from the anime, like the god-kins which are descendants of Slane Theocracy's Six Great gods and the battle happening with Slane Theocracy vs Elven Kingdom. And yes, these dragons are weak for Ainz's standards. Remember, Ainz is max level when he arrived in the New World and he brought with him 12 max level Guardians(Dungeon Raid Bosses). Although Ainz is max lvl he is still very cautious of the possibilities that he might encounter Yggdrasil player during his world domination charade. He already thinks that there might be other Yggdrasil players in the New World when he encountered the existence of the "World Items".
Im glad Shalltear is happy to finally "redeem" herself. Even though Ainz never blamed her for the incident, she feels down bcs of it and im happy she is back being herself. Also i love the subtle relationship of Aura and Shalltear. If i was Ainz id be remembering things about my old friends watching them bond. Poor Peroroncino, getting "bullied" by his sister and his NPC is also getting "bullied" too by his Sister's.
It's not late it quite early. Looking forward to this one. I'm not at home right now so I'll watch it later tonight. 😋 The thumbnail look fantastic it's going to be fun 👍
Great reaction! On the other hand, the quagoa would have seen their power immediately when they easily killed the first few thousand and could have stopped sending warriors out, but they didn't. They just kept sending more out to get killed. Ainz probably didn't want to house the whole 60K quagoa in Nazarik and wanted their number cut down anyway. If he had sent adventurers, they would have just got killed by the quagoa. The parts with the dragons was cool, but it was much better in the novel. Hejinmal's heart actually stopped when Aura frightened him. And reading how Hejinmal tried thinking his way through his encounter with Ainz was very funny. Can't do Grasp Heart on creatures above a certain level. Ainz is still testing his magic so using the same spell all the time would be boring anyway.
I think it is implied that major heroes and the Gods of the Theocracy were players.... Like they built a rubic cube and all. Although that is what I have picked up but I have watched it a few times now... Somewhere around 6x... I really do love this show.
Ainz babies his guardians so much to the point where even if they are horrible at communicating they feel enabled to keep doing so because he will tell them what a great job they do anyhow.
Also Ainz has used Grasp heart before it was the first spell he used against a slane soldier back in epiisode 3. where he started to get an idea about how powerful people were. Grasp heart is a 9'th lvl spell, and when he saw it worked he went with dragon lightning against the next target a 5'th or was it 6'th level spell. the spell system goes from lvl 1-10 then super tiere then world item as far as i recall. (i'm not suree if overlord works wiith lvl 0 spells though)
When you watch Overlord, you have to think from a Villain's point of view. I think you're a bit wrong for thinking from a human perspective. Remember, Ainz and his subordinates are villains, not heroes. And one more thing, misunderstanding is the hallmark of this series
Yes the money can be used, its all dwarfen gold so its pretty tustworthy in the new world. I remember Ains asking the former village chief and his wife about his Yggdrasil gold and he concluded that the gold itself held the same value as two gold coins from the kingdom purely in gold value. We never got a update on if the artistic aspect of the coins had any value but i assume it did. I would also assume the dwarfen gold has higher value based on purity and artistic value alone if not weight also like Ains's gold.
20:00 what are the chances that this dragon only knows of Yggdrasil but is not from it? Also he is not from the theocracy 22:04 he has multiple instant death spells but against players it doesn’t really work as even level 30 enemies can radiate instant death auras so any competent player would have countermeasures to it He also just isn’t the person to casually cast spells to show off
If I had 60k people with me and 2 people confidently challenged us, I would give up. It would either have to be 2 op people or the best bluff ever. Also, the quoga planned on killing all of the dwarves for their minerals so I don’t feel bad for them. Plus Ainz let 10k live, not bad considering he could kill them all instead
Well Ainz was just thinking and a part of his thoughts he accidentally said out loud. He even tried to correct Demiurge that he was just joking, but it was already too late. Demiurge would accept his previous claim no matter what else Ainz said.
The frost dragons are weak in terms of dragon lords, but they are quite strong compared to other beings in the world. Edit: also Hajinmal was terrified after Aura used her skill on him that's why he peed himself, but he thought he would be deemed useless and killed if he admitted to that so he said it was because he got excited. The Quagoa had scouts seeing that a dragon submitted to them, that should have given a clue to their strength since the Quagoa are quite weak in comparison, and also you don't step up without fear 2 against 60k unless you're certain you'll win. Aura and Shalltear followed orders perfectly just that the anime didn't portray that. The orders were for Aura to observe and for Shalltear to have them submit or cull their numbers to a manageable number.
the big question is if he can do the same as he doees for the Albion sheep, so he car harvest the two dragons again and again and again, though dragons are significanly more powerful than humans... so it might not be rentable.
But think again they should know how powerful they are bcoz of two of them show up to fight all of them like if only two or one of them show up they fuck up
You're absolutely right. There is more than one dragon clan in the world. Frost Dragons are actually one of the weakest types. Frost Dragon Lord isn't even a "True Dragon Lord". True Dragon Lords can use wild magic and are legit dangerous even to beings from Nazarick.
I'm curious about the next one. I see the novel, so I know what'll happen until the fourteenth volume, but I don't know what will happen from now. If the intro is right, they'll show the Witch of The Fallen Kingdom Arc, what will be... INCREDIBLE!!! But it'll be also the greatest massacre in anime.
Witch of the fallen kingdom arc? Isn't ''Paladins of the holly kingdom arc'' before that one? I don't think they Will skip that one. So maybe next season...
@ Allmighty Weakling Nope, it was confirmed that the Holy Kingdom Arc would have its own separate movie. Which will be released after this season has concluded. Which personally I feel could’ve been a mistake, depending in how they adapt the next arc and the following movie respectively.
@@jacobjohnson8635 Well, I don't know if it was confirmed. The only thing I know is that the intro shows the Witch of The Fallen Kingdom Arc. But, considering that the first seasons intro shows the lizardmans battle against Cocytus, isn't imposible for them to make the Paladins arc now. But, seeing how much they show about the Witch arc, I think it's true that the fourteenth volume will be showed first. That's sad.
@Ruan Paiva Agreed, I was hoping that they might take a break from the season and finish the movie so that when the series picks back up for the next installment the narrative remains unbroken(like what they did for BNHA only those movies aren’t canon). However everything that I have seen suggests that they are adapting the novels out of order. Again if they imply a time-skip and drop hints of the movie’s events than the series could continue without any major narrative repercussions.
@@jacobjohnson8635 I'd prefer to them make the Paladin's Arc. With six chapters lefting, they could do the Paladin's, even if it became a little short.
it is kinda foolish tho, i mean if you have 60,000 people behind you and 2 people walk up to you and say all of you "KNEEL OR DIE" it kinda shows they're confident that they can mop all 60,000 of you easy.
True dragon lords are strong compared to these frost dragons which are pretty much baby dragons. The real "dragon lords" are around lvl 80-100 which are great threats even in Ygdrassil because they have op resistances and attacks which is why Ainz is very cautious of them. These however are just "dragons" which are weaker variants and their levels are around 30-40's, the boss dragon this episode is lvl 46 which is something around the level of the battle maids which are pretty much close to fodders in Nazarick.
Eyy good ideas about the dragons, spreading exaggerations about your strength can be good and bad like you said. More often better than bad since it most problems will avoid you unless they are really that bad, which case you are dead either way.
Yeah Ainz does not have much empathy for anyone who is not from Nazarik. I think if he would turn into a human again in the future, he would kill himself for how much he made people suffer.
Actually I disagree with you, even us as humans tend to put our family in mind first before others. So far in the anime, he never attacked humans for no reason. They either tried to attack him or steal from his home and he defended himself.
They basicaly left as mutch stuff out of this episode as they did from the whole season. Pretty mutch the worst adaptation of the whole series. Just the fight against the quagoa could have taken a whole episode, from Aura using a world item wich transports them all to a pocket dimension, to Riyuros whole life WICH IS SUPER IMPORTANT, to what they wanted to do to the dwarves wich did made Ainz count as merciful here, the whole fight lost all emotion and had 0 pacing. Then with the dragons, they left out the dragon lord and all of his wives bullying Henjimal, the fact that he loves literature, the fact that he only let all 3 dragon wifes survive to make them part of his own harem, AND MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE VOLUME Ainz wanted an armor made for Zaryusu so he can have more white children bechause Ainz loves collecting rare things. Then he gave the dwarven forge master an ignot of a rare metal wich he couldn't melt at all chausing him to panic. To be precise he could touch the glowing metal it was still completely cold to the touch. So he escaped with the metal to try and find a way to work it. And now the dwarven kingdom is hunting him bechause he stole from someone that could destroy their entire nation.

Yeah ainz even give the dragons chance to submit or die
Taking the dwarves capital and killing them till theyre gone i mean other people if they have ainz power would wipe them out clean. But yet he just male them his subordinate
@ MasterEpsilon
Yeah, Riyuro planned on overthrowing the frost dragons eventually.
“What, what the, what the hell is that?!”
Riyuro did not even have the strength to answer his advisor’s mournful cry. His thoughts merely leaked out through his mouth in the form of words.
“This many…”
“Clan Lord! What is that!? It’s nothing like the Golems we saw before!”
They smashed away every single Quagoa charging them in a single blow. This was no longer a battle. It was not even a massacre. It was simply disposal. The comrades he had gathered to increase their influence were now being mangled up in vast quantities like so much rubbish.
“We, we have to run!”
“Where will you run to?!”
He shouted at his panicked aides.
“Where can you run to in this strange dimension?! These people said they’re going to kill us until there’s only 10000 of us left!”
His aides had nothing to say.
What have the Dwarves brought here?!”
“Why are such tiny people so powerful…”
As he heard his advisors, another flash of inspiration struck Riyuro.
“Could it be that red-armored chap is also a Dwarven weapon? They sent something stronger because they knew the Golems were destroyed?”
“...So if we defeat it, they’ll send something even stronger than that?”
The cries of his men echoed all around. Only the region around Riyuro was silent.
“Let’s pull the men back─”
“Stop! They have to fight! There’s no other way out for us! However strong it is, it’ll get tired eventually! When that happens, we’ll wait until it can’t swing its weapon any more, then force them to negotiate and demand concessions from them!”
“I, I see… But… Will it really get tired?”
He had mentioned something Riyuro had thought of in the corner of his mind. However─
“In any case, as long as it lives, it ought to get tired. It might have more stamina than us, but it’ll definitely get tired. Until then, make it keep swinging its weapon! ...Even if it doesn’t get tired, once it gets bored of killing we might be able to discuss something.”
The Clan Lord was reluctant to speak the words which came next, but they had to be said.
“Besides, we can’t win even if we fight it! Not against a monster like that.”
His troops would not be demoralized to the point of flight.
“You chosen heroes!”
He could not raise his voice.
You will be able to make it suffer!”
It ought to be tired ─ he said that, but there was no sign of it.
Go! Our heroes!”
WIth a prayer in his heart, Riyuro sent out those heroes.
He gave his men orders to clear the path to the red suit of armor. Then, the heroes would assault the red armor─
─Riyuro closed his eyes.
“My, my Lord… Mighty Clan Lord of us all…”
After hearing his aides’ trembling voices, he slowly opened his eyes.
“You… you don’t need to say anything. I know. I, I saw it too…”
Nothing had changed. That was right. It had made no difference.
Just like the regular soldiers, the chosen heroes had been chopped into mincemeat and sent flying as lumps of flesh. And it had all happened in an instant. They had met the same end as the regular soldiers.
“...So… so…”
Riyuro could not say anything else. Although he did not know what that red suit of armor was, it was something which was undoubtedly stronger than a Dragon.
Riyuro could no longer feel anything. If he simply waited quietly for time to pass, the outcome would be as the enemy willed it.
“...said they wanted 2000 children. Pick out that amount.”
“My Lord…:
“...There’s nothing else we can do. Even if there’s only 10000 of us, as long as we survive, someday… someday, we can make the Quagoa great again…”
Nobody could say anything in the face of Riyuro’s words.
Someone please tell me…”
His muttering came straight from the heart.
Why, why didn’t you tell me!”
The whimpering of the Quagoa Lord, hailed by his people as the greatest ruler in their history, blended with the screams of the children as his own soldiers butchered them.
what volume and chapter?
@JohtoTrainerRed
It’s from Volume 11, but as for chapter I’m not sure.
I believe it’s Chapter 4.
I'm glad you understand their perspective as well. It's easy to get lost since we mainly see the Bone Clan, but to an outsider's perspective, you're 100% right, they're just 2 people
I think the first character Ainz eliminated in the first season, who was a knight attacking a village, was by crushing their heart with that spell.
a lv 15 guy died by a 90lv spell basically
@@renatomenahernandez1247 that was just a random solider, so more like lvl 1 - 5
@@theresnothinghereatall maybe he used new world scale of levels (for example Ainz in yggdrasil has level 100, here he has level 300)
@@achillesfearless1796 New world scaling? Huh? I must've missed something unless this info is from Vol 16
It stuns if it doesn’t apply it’s not damage, ainz used it as a first strike so that if it stunned and didn’t kill them then he could run away
@@-Apoptos- Ah, thanks for the correction.
Unfortunately, the anime skipped over this, but White Dragon Lord is seriously abusive to Hejinmal, mocks him for his body, calls him a dragon-pig, and threatens to throw him out of the castle because he doesn't consider him to be what a real dragon should be.
ainz was already planning out his new dragon leather suit with matching boots and belt 🤣🤣
Also Demiurge’s presumption of Ainz’s master plan to use his undead labor force as a long term means to take over the world was actually based on previous events that were omitted from the
anime.
As expected of such merciful Sorcerer King.
Yup you’re right on the money. Dragon’s get stronger the longer they live. That dragon you saw in S2 is one of the strongest ones in the series.
I hope your grandma is doing OK. Send her my best wishes 🤗
"Why didn't you all just submit?"
The Light Novel source makes it more clear, but Pe Riyuro, the clan lord was actually in favour of just submitting because he's actually an extremely smart leader for his kind.
(The Author of the series himself stated that he personally ranks Riyuro extremely highly as a leader.)
The problem/fault was in how bull-headed the Nazarick NPCs are when Ainz is around.
Shaltear: hey as long as it works..
14:00 you are correct, ainz need to realize they are literaly too op and think how other thinks in such situation.
Sooooooo agree
Bruh the misscommunicate from season 1 🤣😂🤣😅
I know it seems it’s Demiurges who bring that despair, but at the end of the day, Ainz agrees with him. They do have the same karma level, and there are times where Ainz is even more ruthless than Demiurges
At the end Shaltear was so happy because she felt guilty since season one for figth against Ains.
i was going to leave this one for later but after seeing dragons on the thumbnail i think i'll go watch it now. i been waiting for dragons🐉😃👍
Imagine being able to plan 10000 years ahead
Im glad Shalltear is happy to finally "redeem" herself. Even though Ainz never blamed her for the incident, she feels down bcs of it and im happy she is back being herself. Also i love the subtle relationship of Aura and Shalltear. If i was Ainz id be remembering things about my old friends watching them bond.
Poor Peroroncino, getting "bullied" by his sister and his NPC is also getting "bullied" too by his Sister's.
It's not late it quite early. Looking forward to this one. I'm not at home right now so I'll watch it later tonight. 😋
The thumbnail look fantastic it's going to be fun 👍
If they sent two people to fight tens of thousands of my warriors, I would be a little concerned of how powerful they are.
Ainz-Samas Glorious 10000 Year Plan :D
If two ppl come out to face many army then u just submit
😂
To be frank you just need to look at they're equipment to understand how strong they are 😅
20:00 what are the chances that this dragon only knows of Yggdrasil but is not from it? Also he is not from the theocracy
22:04 he has multiple instant death spells but against players it doesn’t really work as even level 30 enemies can radiate instant death auras so any competent player would have countermeasures to it
He also just isn’t the person to casually cast spells to show off
If I had 60k people with me and 2 people confidently challenged us, I would give up.
The orders were for Aura to observe and for Shalltear to have them submit or cull their numbers to a manageable number.
the big question is if he can do the same as he doees for the Albion sheep, so he car harvest the two dragons again and again and again, though dragons are significanly more powerful than humans... so it might not be rentable.
cant wait for the reaction to this weeks made in abyss !~ !
this is terrifying massacre...
Redemption thru genocide

@ Allmighty Weakling
Nope, it was confirmed that the Holy Kingdom Arc would have its own separate movie.
That's sad.
@Ruan Paiva
Agreed, I was hoping that they might take a break from the season and finish the movie so that when the series picks back up for the next installment the narrative remains unbroken(like what they did for BNHA only those movies aren’t canon).
However everything that I have seen suggests that they are adapting the novels out of order. Again if they imply a time-skip and drop hints of the movie’s events than the series could continue without any major narrative repercussions.
@@jacobjohnson8635 I'd prefer to them make the Paladin's Arc. With six chapters lefting, they could do the Paladin's, even if it became a little short.
it is kinda foolish tho,
i mean if you have 60,000 people behind you and 2 people walk up to you and say all of you "KNEEL OR DIE"
it kinda shows they're confident that they can mop all 60,000 of you easy.
6:15 if my hired merc(dragon) is gonna bow to the target m submitting without a question
06:09 isn't that a bit too much Grasp Heart's tier 9 magic?!! try to hold back a little. 😭
When Ainz ended Clementine he said he is hypocritical.
Let's just remember that and stop criticize his hypocritical self-justification everytime.
If your friends don't piss themselves when u show up are they really your friends?
This episode could have been a lot better its actually a little sad how they did it but its still fun to watch for me ig
I hope your grandma gets better.
one of the few women I see react to season 4.
The episode is a bit rushed as expected since they need to fit so much content into 20 mins, but good video regardless tho
Your have demon slayer reactions ? or no game no life?
She did react to No Game No Life already.
Dragons can't be players.
Then with the dragons, they left out the dragon lord and all of his wives bullying Henjimal, the fact that he loves literature, the fact that he only let all 3 dragon wifes survive to make them part of his own harem,
AND MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE VOLUME Ainz wanted an armor made for Zaryusu so he can have more white children bechause Ainz loves collecting rare things.
You're so cute. Marry me!
