Dylan being Dylan then. Probably a little high here. I think he was most candid while being interviewed by The famous Stuffs Terrell when I think was just 22..23. Studdes. had a calming effect. Also, he had him play a few of his songs, which I think a couple are my favorite versions..
His questioning is the only thing that gives the interview substance and keeps it going, Dylan is quite obtuse and stand-offish. Hentoff should be given credit for getting a 1 hour+ interview out of him.
Dylan was so wise at that young age. I couldn't imagine answering questions like him when I was in my mid 20s.
The interview is lije from the 80s..maybe very late 70s
@@theballq you're incredibly wrong dude
@@JM-co6rf I'm a Dylan historian. I teach Dylan at Harvard. How dare you tell me I'm wrong.
@@JM-co6rf but yes it was from 65 I believe.
I'm the man

Cool to hear him say he digs highway 61 to the point he would listen to it. Ya don't often hear him remark on his own music in that way
This interview is really old. Who knows if he still thinks the same.
+A SMaRt foodie That gold is old,..who knows if its still gold?
Best Wishes,

Buddhist poet rambling mind kind of guy. So straight. So honest. So well-meaning despite his outrageous genius. Humble.
buddha? this was his height of worldliness and hedonism
Thanks for uploading these. Very interesting.
I like how he doesn't put labels on himself.
