I agree, although it was changed I think With the guns update But it's not enough not I hope we see The gritty atmosphere that we saw in the E3 make a return in the future!
Modding is entirely different to developing. Modders don't have crippling time, resource and manpower constraints whilst having corporate breathing down their necks to ensure they don't waste those said elements. Modders have the luxury of hyper focusing on specific elements of the game. Modders have a foundation pre-built for them to work off. Modders often don't have entirely separate departments of numerous people to organise and coordinate with to create a central product. Where one decision can negatively affect others into a standstill or outright backtracking. Modders can have entire engine documentation accessible to them. TLDR: Don't get me wrong, Modders can do amazing things and many can make great developers. But there's a reason only a few become Devs. Modding and developing are NOT the same.
I never had a problem with the look of DL2 besides not having darker nights, personally i run normal/dark nights and i think the backlash for that specifically was pretty dumb but parkour changes are always cool can't wait for The Beast
I really hope the beast brings back the gritty feel and look like DL1. Make it the DL2 we really wanted. Screw the paraglider too, it trivialises parkour. Remove fast travel as well. Ruins the game.
This version is fantastic! However, the current version is completely different from the game presented at E3 in 2018/2019. No matter how much this mod changes, it still can't fix the repetitive buildings in the current version, lacks randomness, the story still lacks immersion, and there are still a lot of yellow chemical pollutants. Same here. It's really a shame Techland kind of rushed this game and barely made actual content; just a DLC about an arena fighting other humans, which makes it no longer a zombie game. But I'm hoping Dying Light: The Beast is going back to its roots.
I think the main problem is the art direction. The first game felt gritty and had a realistic style where the second just feels cartoony still

@@Noah_112 I think gun update graphics are worse than before i hope they will put beast graphics into DL2 though
@weplo1597 i think i heard somewhere that they plan to do that if the beast is received well or something down the line not sure tho.
Techland constantly being out done by modders is honestly pretty sad
Debatable to be honest.
Look at stalker gamma mate, modders will always top gaming corps
That's what I'm saying; it is sad that the modders seem to do a much better job at making Dying Light 2 closer to its 2018 and 2019 version.
Textures look like mashed potatoes and the filter makes it look like someone pissed on the screen what are you talking about 💀

2025 is reminding me that Dying Light is going to be 10 in a few weeks!
@@GMBoyYT Thanks for the reminder, I completely forgot
Give Dying Light a Proper Remaster and DL2 is Dead
@bartfratze9529 wow shocking a single player game is dead
@@badr.4558 huh? I mean dl1 is to this Date far better. U dont get the Point here
Apart from the missing texture this genuinely looks good and has a lot of potential.
This looks like a whole new game if this came out as a game in 2025 i would buy it with that graphics and atmosphere wow

2:02 what the ?
Amazing comparison and love the max payne 3 music🔥
Hopefully Console Mod Support comes in the Anniversary update, I so badly want to play this mod.
0:06 that’s right it’s great, and it’s way better than DL1
Man i wish techland add mod support to consoles so i can play ts
The E3 has a yellow tint right?
so erm whats going on with that elyseum project??
im not sure what made techland pick retail over what they had in 2019 retail seriously looks like actual puke
When we getting E3 😭
it's out. E3 Def discord server.
@@JustACh1llGuyI'm on PlayStation 5
@shadowpilot472 u mean mod support or?
This mode, it’s coming the PS5?
If Techland gives the community what they promised (Mod Support) then yes
I’m sure they can do it
It has to cause it will save DL2
No raytracing support? shame. looks great.
1.0 mod release in december 2025 - december 2026

Easily one of the best games I've ever played 🔥
Dying Light is approaching its 10th anniversary and it's still way more popular than Dying Laughter 2
It looks good

Best thing is just a demo version of e3
Is it just me or there is less grass in the mod?
Half-Life 2 Beta moment😆
you have it on the wrong settings. 52 fov and 21 gamma.
1:01 is there a mod where you can make Aiden run faster without having to use the skill
there will be soon, but u can probably just edit the player variables file and increase the sprint speed there
looks good, but the core issue is the map is pathetic, can't change that i dont think any mod will ever make me want to play DL2 again
They mod devs are going to make map changes later down the roadmap but it’ll probably be a while before that comes out
I don't like DL2 2022, It beacuse the Textures are just Ugly to me. And i like the old Texture from DL2 E3 Definitive, it's was Perfect for Graphics.
