This is the best tutorial I have ever seen. The explanations go into all the useful details. You can tell it's a tutorial for action. I give top rate for the quality of the video. It is unfortunately neglected by many trainers. Well done and congratulations!
I am a complete Cubase novice. I mean, I had no idea about what it even looked like when running, nevermind how to configure it for the first time. I was completely overwhelmed to begin with. But after taking a few deep breaths (and some strong coffee), I tried doing this without any help. And when watching this video, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had done almost everything correctly. But now I know how to add a new VST folder as well (: My next step is finding out how to actually record music from my outboard equipment and vst's. But if that is as straightforward as the setup and configuration, I should be creating music in no time at all. Thanks guys.
I definitely appreciate your work explaining all these settings. I have recently ran into that stupid Generic Driver issue where Cubase 12 Artist decides to dump my Audient Sono guitar interface for no apparent reason under Windows 11 Pro.
I appreciate this video because you go through each thing individually, but I am really struggling with Cubase recognizing my steinberg audio interface and recognizing my maschine hooked up to my computer through USB... but even though cubase will let me choose the steinberg as the audio system it still will not allow me to select it as my audio device for output in the audio connections-outputs section. it says not connected, and it shows the interface in the drop down menu but it refuses to select it. Computers can be so stubborn, but so can I, and all the connection glitches on my first few days of cubase has been overwhelming.
@@dnickell5343 I actually completely forget because I was using a free trial and could not afford to purchase cubase and continue with production when the 30 days was up. :( I think it was somewhere in the control panel window that it gave the option to turn it off, and then would prompt the user to confirm.
Guys I'm in desperate need of help. I have a Steinberg UR22C audio interface and it came with Cubase AI 12. I've downloaded everything from Drivers to the license and more but for some reason, once I start recording, I can hear clipping and some distortion from the recording. I don't know if it has to do with the software not being completely compatible with my computer or with the audio interface, or if it is just a problem with the settings and configurations. Does anyone have a clue on how to solve this issue?
Anyone know how i can record with my focusrite and output with my ifi nano idsd? The ifi doesnt show up and there is no asio with it so when i choose generic playback remains with the focusrite.
Due to the removal of some libraries, my Cubase started opening in safe mode, and then stopped opening altogether. At the moment Cubase 12 does not open, a simple reinstallation does not help. Please tell me how to properly uninstall Cubase from a computer (windows11) and then reinstall Cubase so that everything works?
Question: I'm pulling my hair out trying to find a list of standard PC and CC messages in Cubase to program a midi controller...why isn't this readily available??? The whole process seems like a recurring nightmare that would be easily solved with such a list.
Thank you? For creating this video? I found it really helpful? But, just one complaint? You use a lot of question marks, in your speech? I found it kind of annoying?

Anyone reading my comment, I solved this issue by disabling the control panel! 💕
@@jillianroselovesfilmandchurros How did you disable your control panel? I don't see an option to disable it.

Still no sound in the 30 day trial. Very annoying. Seems like I´m not going to buy this, cause it won´t run easy enough for

No Dvds? Do you know if it is available as dvds? I don't like all this download this and that, remember codes here and there. 😊

So then, you use a neener neener nanner nanner offensive defensive as a provocative approach imposing an annoying demeanor yourself? Bless yer heart?
