Looks like incredible fishing. How much catch and release are they doing? Especially with the sailfish. No one eats sailfish but these guys appear to keep them. I see no fish released and it's disturbing.

It's absolutely inhumane to catch fish in this manner. It's too much painful for the caught fishes. There are other ways to catch fish by using net atleast.
I dont understand why you would waste time doing this when the smaller fish have less mercury in them and those big ones are high in mercury. Just eat the smaller fish.
We'll, one needs to note that in the fish food chain , the natural law is the bigger fish will prey on the smaller fish . Sometimes a big fish will gulp the smaller one whole and at other times will snap at and tear off body parts , while the smaller fish is still alive . These fishermen are in a way following the natural law . It's the big trawlers who cause the maximum damage , because so many marine species get caught in their nets , which are never meant to be eaten . Their dead bodies are discarded overboard much later .
