Plan an Artist Getaway | Ideal Artist Vacation & Collage Artist Residency | Traveling as an Artist

Have you ever dreamed to plan an artist getaway? Here are the steps and best practices I did to make this the ideal artist vacation. Full of nature, art, and cozy living, this vacation to the countryside to make art was perfect.
I hope to share all my tips and tricks with you. I looked into attending a collage artist residency but decided a solo route would be more fitting for me. Traveling as an artist can look like many things. I decided to stay pretty close to home since I had so many art supplies.
I booked this loft-style vacation home through AirBNB a month before going and planned fun activities for the week. I did research on things I wanted to read / watch while there as well as found local activities that would enhance my trip.
I didn't want to attend an official art residency, so I planned this solo, 7 day, art retreat to give myself the space to focus on my collage art practice.
Collage is my passion and I want to share it with as many people as I can. If you're stressed out, simply grab some magazines and scissors and ...collage!
