Line Rider - Harry Potter

- Here is line rider track number 9. With a 5 minute song, 3 riders, and almost 6,000 lines, this is by far my biggest project yet, which also marks the end of my first year on TH-cam. I synchronized it to "Hedwig's Theme" by John Williams from the Harry Potter movie series. I know that Harry Potter has been done in line rider before, but never with 3 riders, and I've wanted to do Harry Potter for a while, but decided to wait until I could use 3 riders, which I only figured out how to do very recently. This track also features re-mounting, which came out when I was about halfway done. It took me about 2 months to make. I worked hard on this, so I hope you enjoy it.
If you have a song that you would like to see in line rider, feel free to put it in the comments section. No guarantee that I will make it, but I will definitely consider.
Everyone: “wOw look at the timing with the rise and the fall of the tempo.”
Me: *losing my last brain cells trying to figure out which line he should be on*
Sameeeeeee
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
the freaking sled switches is where i totally lost it.. holy crap. too good

Someone was definitely more productive in quarantine than I was
@Ethan Solomon true, but I still haven't been super productive. Decided to learn a new skill though 😄
Certainly seems so!
Yes these little men in red and green were definetly more productive than us
Lol yea totally
I love that every 7 years or so this game becomes popular again and then slinks back off into obscurity, silently waiting for another rainy day.
Wait, did they switch sleds at one point? Also, the shear accuracy of every note was unbelievable.
Yes, an update for dismounting/remounting happened while I was making the track, allowing for them to switch sleds. Also, I'm glad you liked it!
4:38
Lol
Yes, reds went to green, greens went to blue and blues went to red
300th like
Did you learn how to make this at Hogwarts?
Never thought I'd see you here welp I guess youtube gives us the same recommendations also big fan
Yea dude BIG fan of yours
i Like the fake manhunt analysis (Drem)
@@project1e90bmw8 you mean the fake speedrun analysis
Wow best comment ever
Zyphon yes
I honestly am speechless. This is AMAZING!! The way that the lines flow loosely makes me think of the wavy, magical world of Harry Potter. And I can't even get you started on the accuracy of the synchronization!! Great job! And by the way, the people who disliked it are just salty because they can't do what you can.
ok, not disagreeing on the FIRST HALF, its freakin great, but that last sentance was a bit off, dont you think? Some people mightve thought it was fake, maybe noticed a note played for no reason and didnt realise it was a different sled. Never assume.
DoodleChaos has a bunch of line rider videos similar to this video. I'm always impressed by what people can do in line rider
this becomes 10x more impressive when you've played line rider
I know, It was a bloody nightmare when I was a kid. Fun as hell, but still a nightmare.
Ah yes, g-wells.
This puts a smile on my face, being a huge Harry Potter fan
Yeah same
so am i
Me too :)
Same I love Harry Potter
Ye
When the main rider dismounted and got back on his sled my jaw dropped. When they all switched I about lost all my shit
Same
It's really look like Quidditch comtetition, where Gryffindor (red scarf), Slytherin (green) and Ravenclaw (blue) take the part ;)
Hufflepuff gets left out again :)
Remove the lines make it real quidditch
that's exactly what i was thinking
This is Hufflepuff erasure :(
@@zaniq23 agreed :(
This is what all of the sheet music looks like in my chorus.
I never know which line I'm supposed to be on.
Lmaooo😂
Sameee! Thats why I started to lose musical interest
@@gabe.ardila same
I’m loosing musical interest due to how bad I am at every instrument 😂

This sort of swoopy music really lends itself to line rider, nice job! I thought again this musical piece was perfect for multiple riders as there are a lot of different melodies that come and go and you did a good job of matching them, also loved the dismounts/remounts put a smile on my face :)
This is fantastic! I always enjoy a good synced juggling track and you pulled it off!
3:25 this was satisfying to watch
I guess I've never realised just so genius the OST is. I'm in awe with the composer's talent and hard work. Music fascinates me, never failes to do so.
Okay but is no one going to talk about the drop at 2:26? This was so perfectly synched with the music and it almost made me *feel* the drop myself. Such a small detail but it's so much appreciated, astounding work.
Everyone else: woah the timing and stuff is so cool!
Me: *absolutely losing my sh!t whenever one of the little dudes comes flying out of nowhere*
Same girl/man but im also losing it because I don’t know Where they came from 😅
Everyone is taking about how good the sled goes with the song
Meanwhile I am over here laughing my ass off over the different sleds flying all over the screen
It gets so fun when they're all on the same screen. This is crazy cool
All of your pieces are amazing, but I truly enjoyed this one. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and the switching of the riders from one line to another reminded me of the moving staircases at Hogwarts. I don't know if that was the intent or not, but I'm going with it. Very well done. And I agree with the comments; it needs more likes. This is excellent.
Dude, you cannot possibly get enough credit for the massive amount of hard work you put into this!
this might just be the most impressive choreography in all of human history
I love how you make the sled fall precisely with each note when it is required. The sheer amount of attention to the notes that require attention is nothing short of pure magic
the way they kept going thru apparently solid lines, especially one of the last ones during the drop with the harp (4:00) felt so magical-very fitting
it's eerie how well this lines up with the song so well, it's almost like it was made to line up
He made the lines to the music
hear that..? Woooosh... the sound of a joke going over your head.
Calvin Midgley was that a joke because it wasn’t funny
yeah i know it wasnt funny i don't have a good sense of humor
@@calvinmidgley6365 it was funky for me tho also i subbed
i never realised how beautiful this song is, so thank you! Astonishing work!
Its harry potter
I get good memories from the time that i played Lego harry Potter on my PS3 at like 9 years old. That were good times...
Looks like a bunch of wizards flying on their broom sticks. love it!
During covid i was in grade 4 and one of the few allowed to bring an actual computer to school by my parents, i just out this on so many times and let everyone stare at it and watch it, i swear, it became our primary source of entertainment. nice job 👍
Whenever I'm having one of My worst days I need a video like this to remind me that humanity is doing alright 👍
I totally feel the same
Dear sir, you're creation is absolutely fantastic. I am play and perform in a major Symphony orchestra and teach in school. I have and continue use line rider with my younger music students in school. It has been one of the most amazing and fun ways to introduce and help young students and kiddos appreciate some of the most incredible music. Warmly and with deepest sincerity...THANK YOU, and my students THANK YOU!
Good idea
Hedwig's Flight is one of my favorite orchestral songs. And you did a good job with it here.
This is an actual form of ART
WHOA...
How does this not have so many more likes, and why can't I like it more than once?! Excellent work!
I love how at the end they just smash into the ground, like this huge epic ballet ends so abruptly lol. Great video!
Just a gentler reminder that what you do is absolutely amazing and incredibly. 😁
this is one of the best visual representations of music i've ever seen
Magnificent! I can not even express how much joy watching this brings me!
Didnt think it was possible for me to have even more admiration for the great maestro, but here I am
If there ever was a piece of music that would fit perfectly for this program it would be Harry Potter! I kept imagining their sleds were brooms
This lives rent-free in my head
That finale sequence when they switched sleds was CRAZY 🤯
This was more thrilling than any feature film I've seen in the last 5 years.
as a man who listens to harry potter music on a daily (not joking) i payed attention to every detail and it was fascinating!
The bikes on the 16th notes during the quick tempo was waaayy too funny for me 😂
Awesome! this is by far the best one Ive seen yet. I can't believe it only have 650 views.
youtube algorithm got his back
@@UnrealStep holy crap I just checked that. Amazing!
Oh my god that was... AMAZING. It was super fun to watch and amazingly accurate. My eyes were glued to the lines and it was really fun.
The sleds coming in and out in the beginning has me dying
This is the best Line Rider I have seen so far. It's so insanely satisfying. My two kids (the three of us are hopeless music nerds AND Harry Potter fans) watch this all the time, over and over. Thank you for such a great video!!!!
Awesome! You hit the bulls-eye! Congratulations!
The amount of lines in this is incredible
This is my favorite one because of the use of other riders. Ride is my second favorite because of the expressive use of the lines
okay but the fucking talent involved in getting all three riders to fly off their sleds and land back on them not once but at LEAST twice. freaking phenomenal
My dad: So son how was your ride down the big hill today
Me: It was...........Magical
I say this pretty much every time I see a Line Rider video, but that was the best one ever! The dismount, remount, triple-dismount, triple-remount with sledge-switch was insane! Keep up the great work!
I love how the scarves are the colors of the houses! You gained a subscriber :)
This is beautiful execution of one of my favourite songs thank you
4:18 The way he caught that
Super cool. I never listened to Hedwig's Theme all the way through before, so I never heard the "Star Wars"-ey feeling the later parts have. Awesome video, awesome music.
This is amazing, great job. Entertainment, skill, hella fine tune, what more can you ask for?
this is a serious work of artistry, absolutely amazing!
This is first time i listened this theme to the end
Incredibly good and beautiful. I felt the magic. This should be known for everybody.
THIS. IS ART. HOW?! THIS IS AMAZING. IM SPEECHLESS!!! WELL DONE TO YOU, YOU DESERVE ALOT MORE SUBS THEN YOU HAVE CURRENTLY!
4:17 Green and Red switch sleds, very nice
also, smashing into a flat surface and falling into the eternal abyss is certainly a new ending to me
I slowed it down there, green and red dont switch, red just gets theirs back
This is incredible!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This takes me back. Playing this game in school back in 2009 instead of paying attention in class XD
i don't know why but for some reason i found this extremely funny
This has to be one of the most satisfying videos I’ve ever seen
I’m more astonished people still go on this game, I played this all the time when I was supposed to be working at primary school
The amount of effort put into this is astounding.
It REALLY deserves more views.
edit: 2:33 OMG
Wow, when the red one caught the sled? Amazing, fantastic. When ALL THREE swapped sleds?! Blew my mind.
That was more impressive than any of doodlechaos or argelino by far
Amazing attention to detail. The red scarf is pretty clever, being the colour of Gryffindor which is pretty much the poster child for Hogwarts housing. If the music wasn’t good enough (which it was, a true masterpiece) they even added in that great detail. Even the green was thought out, being Slytherin; the second most commonly liked house. Even blue at the end was used for Ravenclaw, brilliant!
We should have a yellow one! Go Hufflepuff!
amazing, as usual!
Whoever made this, can I hug you? This is phenomenal. It’s not the most complex track but getting music synced up to these things in a way that’s pleasing to the eyes is no easy task at all. I haven’t watched a line rider video for years and I used to make these sort of things. The nostalgia is immense
what it looks like to see a gryffindor member, a slytherin member and a ravenclaw member race on their magical sleds:
yea... if it only would be on brooms instead of sleds😌
this is breaktaking, whenever they start switching sleds in your vids, I get emotional.
this is so good!
I remember this game from like 13 years ago! This is the most insane thing I've ever seen on this game
Petition for this to be an actual sport.
John Williams is a LEGEND!!!!
the little loop part at 1:15 made me happy
Your comment made me happy too
It's really cool what you've done with the pass-through lines, integrating them right into the track so it looks continuous
The three person riding it can't stand up straight now.😂
i love the chaos and the amount of quality in these are amazing like the notes and the funnyness and reoccurring sleds and stuff. this shit is unmatched
*Someone turn this masterpiece into a game*
Incredibly this was made in the tablet/phone game line rider it’s amazing 😳😳
Why is watching tiny characters ride lines on sleds synced to music so satisfying??
Awesome! I really liked the trio--are they supposed to represent Harry, Ron, and Hermione?
I never really thought about like that before, lol. I suppose they could..
Or Gryffindor Slytherin Ravenclaw
@@enderyinz-karmastar7844 Hufflepuff ;-;

I watched this whole thing with the biggest, stupidest grin on my face. This was marvelous. Great work.
everyone: competing and racing in a mario cart game

I can watch this all day
the 39 dislikes are from the death eaters
Or the Hufflepuffs that are a bit bitter that Griffindor, RavenClaw and Slytherin were represented, but not them
2:30 I was waiting for this bit and knew it would be pleasing to watch
I don't understand myself being so satisfied by this.
the coordination between the lines and the song is very good i must say. i’ve been focusing on the red one. the red one is the melody right?
Man, those lines are all over the damn place. only a Wizard could make sense of this.
4:42 *Fantastic Beasts*
