    Outside of my power rack, barbell, and plates, this is the BEST thing I have purchased. I use it in the beginning of every workout for a set or two. I would constantly have lower back pain; this has almost completely eliminated it.

    Bought it when it 1st went on hot deal in June for $325. One of the best gym purchases I've ever made and couldn't be happier. I've had major lower back issues for about 9 years. Since using this for just over 2 months. My back has felt absolutely amazing and stronger. I've had no more back pain and movement issues. In fact, I bought the Rogue Abrams 2.0 GHD as well. To continue my posterior chain development and get that even stronger. I have to assemble that this weekend.

    Not that I've used this but my experience with reverse hypers..I had severe sciatica from my rear to my ankle (ankles the worst) from what was eventually diagnosed as a protruding lumbar disc. I couldn't stand or walk for more than 5 to 15 mins without severe pain, excruciating. That lasted 7 months. Then read about louie simmons and RHs. So I got on a tall piece of furniture where my feet didnt touch the floor. I did a few sets of 15 to 30 RH, no added weight, a few times a day. After a couple of days I walked for 90 mins no pain. Next day a 3 hour walk, no pain. Scitica gone, not been back since. Good to couple with lat pull downs but allow the bar to pull you up so it stretches you. Forgot to day I'd been to 3 physios in that time, all their prescriptions useless.

  • @jasonfurl7207
    @jasonfurl7207 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    This is definitely a great value. When it’s deployed, it’s huge. But the fact that it folds up and stores easily was a huge selling point for me. It keeps my home gym looking clean when I’m not using it. It’s also very solid, which isn’t something you would normally associate with a piece of folding equipment. I use it a lot for warmups and cool downs. My rack/barbell/weights are the only things used more than this.

    The bolt that holds the foot holder can dig into your rubber or urethane plates. Easy fix as I just put a 2.5 metal plate on first to protect them. If you have metal plates, not an issue or it may scratch them up a bit. Not a big issue, but for those who want to keep their equipment flawless looking, it’s a warning. I don’t care as most of my plates are already scratched up, just a minor inconvenience to leaf blow the rubber crumbs out.

    Anyone whose had back surgery try one of these? I had surgery about 10 years ago (micro discectomy) and no gyms around me have one. Shipping to my location is about $200. In short, taking a $650 gamble and trying to see if it’s worth it.

      @@AlejandroRodriguez-dt5it I did purchase it! I still have back pain. HOWEVER, it does allow me to function with the pain. In short, when I would get injured I’d have to walk with a cane and be completely worthless. I have been using it and still have back pain, but am fully functional in life (I train jiujitsu and weight lift).

    I got one of these last month and it works great. I'm not using enough weight to rock the front legs yet, but I'll set the rear legs on my deadlift platform with the fronts on the ground. Only about a 2" difference, but there's no way in hell the front will come up now.

    I have two buldging disk in lower back so I purchased this reverse hyper. However when using bumper plates they hit my knees and shins?? Iam doing it very control with legs extended but no luck. Is it supposed to be a clearance of 7 inches from floor to bumper plates? Iam beginning to think the belt shorter or leverage arm on reverse hyper shorter than usual?? When coop doing the swing it looks like the clearance from floor is shorter than mine??
