どいうかJR西の車両なのに「長岡」表示が出せること自体すごい
首都圏⇔北陸の輸送は、ほくほく線経由の「はくたか」（越後湯沢接続）登場前は、信越本線経由の「かがやき」（長岡接続）が担っていたので、もしかしたらそれの名残かもしれないですね。

今は、僕の家の前を走ってるけどこの時からすでにしらさぎ塗装になってて少し寂しいです。
