Pungwe Safari Camp is a small, rustic bush camp in the far south of the Manyeleti Game Reserve and sleeps eight guests in four comfortable safari tents. The camp is unfenced, donkey boilers are used to provide hot water and paraffin lamps are used at night to light up the tents.
Pungwe specialises in bush walks, which are usually done in the mornings. This is also a highly productive game viewing area and visitors to Pungwe and the Manyeleti often see the Big Five, along with species like cheetah and African wild dogs.
If small and rustic is your vibe, this is the camp for you! Visit bit.ly/PungweSafariCamp to make a booking today.

Yes, I like the Mayeleti Game Reserve a lot...and I like the outtakes from this video even more. It's time for me to come back to Bush! My soul thirsts... and my heart too. As soon as the quarantine question is settled, I'll be back in my soul country.
Another great video!
Aww love the hyenas and their calls - one of my most favourite animals 🐾 along with the majestic lions 🦁

Hyenas are the best! ;)
A winter’s morning with someone in a t-shirt and someone in a down jacket…yep, that’s SA!
My brother was the manager there, Howard Spencer-Wilson. He also ran Honey Guide
I actually met Howard at Pungwe in 1998 I think it was... Man, brings back memories! We also live in the same town now :)
Thanx so so much. Stunning video. Loved the lion roaring.
Thanks Linda. Me too! ;)
I believe that’s mandevu tintswalo
Leopard, Painted Wolves, Roaring Lions......Not bad for only a couple of days : ) Magic place Pungwe!
Pungwe magic indeed, Brian!
Have been at pungwe last October its an stunning small, simple camp, only 4 tend houses , but which every comfort you need. elefants bulls came 1x day around my tend. A real adventure safari, which I like. Found the big five, including wild dogs. Thanks so much Tim and Matt for this unforgettable safari.
Will surely come back and bring some friends.
