Don’t override tallnecks with the shield wing with an active flying glitch or you may ruin the flying glitch for that save. At least do a manual save before attempting a tallneck because your save could be ruined for the flying glitch post tallneck override. Other different or older saves won’t be ruined. A ruined flying glitch will close the sheildwing when flying up for a few seconds without hitting any buttons. I also found that going through vents cleared the glitch. The tornado in the video will not spawn if you have not completed Death’s Door main quest. There are at least two tornados that spawn in the stillsands. Two are next to the Tallneck. I tried this with a fresh save after 1.09 and could not get the glitch working after fast traveling after the rocks. I also found after flying up outside of the Tornado after 3 seconds the sheildwing would close. I believe it is patched without evidence to the contrary after 1.09.

06:52 If you need money only, you can just completing Shadow in the West side quest. Then go to the merchant in Barren Light. Buy Whisper Shadow Bow for 149 metal, then you can sell for 250 metal. You get profit 101 metal. Repeat that method until you get money whatever you want.
Don't know why so many people have a hard time getting across the map early in the game. Yes all roads and mountainsides will halt you in one way or another, except one singular trail that goes thru a small opening in the mountains. It's hard to find but it's there...however, as you know, 99% of epic and legendary gear can't be upgraded until later in the game. That Utaru one is perhaps the exception but not much else. The real good stuff that ppl want is from the arena. So, in summary, yes a purple or gold item at lvl 1 is a bit better than an upgraded blue item, but not so much that it's a big advantage. I got there early and just basically unclouded a good chunk of the map and did a few side quests, but still really just had to grind for $ and xp and play the game pretty linearly anyway. Just my two cents.
There is no way through the mountains without the flying glitch prior to dying lands. I have tried. The tunnel must be opened from the stillsands side. The Utaru Winterweave is very powerful and is not secondary to the armor in the arena. The weapons I mentioned should be purchased even if you have opened the arena. If u have access to the western half, u can upgrade all those weapons and armor sets.
It's pretty east to make money off the first thunderjaw, set to easy loot, story damage, kill it, walk 100 meters away turn around and kill it again, repeat. No fast travel, time skip,saving game needed and works fast. Just 10 kills should buy you about 3-4 good weapons just off selling its tail.
@@justinc.242 True, and if you don't use all the shots of its guns, just set them down and pick them up the next time. You can even shoot them off after the kill and start eventually piling up 4-5 guns, making each additional kill even easier and faster, plus the bandit camp literally like 20seconds away has corruptor husks that continuously spawn shards and has a save fire.

This tornado glitch doesn't seem to work too well for me, I get the tornado I hit the wall and fast travel to the same location as you, she starts hovering in the air for 30/50 seconds but doesn't go any higher and then she either starts to go down by herself or the blue umbrella disappears and she falls haha.
I noticed that last night. The shield wing would just close with the glitch active and Aloy floating up. Was going to test it out on another old save since it’s harder to spawn the tornado post Aether’s restoration. I would avoid tallnecks. The second tallneck I override with the shield wing cleared it and the falling issue began.
I checked. See the pinned comment. The save with the problems you described is ruined for the flying glitch but it will work on saves that don’t come from the one where your shield wing closed unexpectedly.

I have question, help if you can! I've finished all story quests, main & side missions, erands, camps etc. Finished 97% game. Didn't play or finish only few small things such as the all view points, mini game and racing and maybe last arena challenge. I never had any issues or errors. Now ,when I just wanna enjoy in everything I got with Aloy's upgrades and legendary gear ,just to travel and fight and finish small things I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ANYMORE BECAUSE OF ERROR WHICH APPEARS INSTANTLY AFTER COMING IN GAME AND START MOVING or doing anything!!! Should I delete game from Library and download it again from store? ...Or what should I do?? Will I lose all progress done if I delete game and reinstal???🤔 I'm playing on PS4 and using new Game Drive (2 TB) for Forbidden West. Never had such a case ,so I don't know exactly what to do ...and I don't wanna play all of it again from beginning without achievements
I'm trying to get the winterweave but i can't get to the place where the DreadWings Are located. Can you get there without the glitch and without a flying mount? If not where can i get the flying mount?
It seems to have been patched in my version. Either I hit the wall and the map after Aloy grabs it, and fast travel but no glitch, or hit the map just before she grabs but then it says “can’t fast travel because you are falling.”
@@LinusWilson I was getting sniped out the sky by a Slaughterspine, it eventually took me out of the glitch after dying to fall damage like 10 times lol. Not being able to sprint is "fun"
@@LinusWilson I don't think I explained it all to well, I definitely was fairly low to the ground using it to evade since I couldn't sprint. But now it's fixed again and I'm glad this video showed up in my recommendation since I've been taking my time with horizon.
@@lilportabella You can fix it. If you fly right from the campfire 2:10 where he went left the glide shild gonna close and you fall. You can reopen it quick that you dont die. After that you gonna be able to run again.
I beat every quest even side quests and it says under my trophys for the game on my ps4 that it's 84% complete yet every quest from every town or village or camp site is complete... I just didn't do some of the hunting grounds. Almost everything I have is legendary oh and I have just a few strick piece games to beat also could these tiny things be why it's not 100% beat?
Only problem I have is you can't sprint with glitch active. That gets annoying. It's cool to get some legendarys fast tho. I just tried to see if I can get First To Fly armor pieces, but its quest locked, peices wont spawn nor will stormbird meh...
Flying quests level 32 require finishing wings of the ten main quest. You can roll faster than walking with the glitch active just like in HZD. I showed you a location of a stormbird that will spawn.

No they spawn. You might need to complete “deaths door”. If u are past the base there are 2 by the stillsands tallneck and one by the stillsands tremortusk.
Dude just play the quest that unlocks the forbidden west. It’s not that hard. You don’t have to do all this for some mid ass purple weapons. Cool glitch though nonetheless for people that are a robot killing god in this verse with all legendary gear maxed out and 5+ of every single coil and weave
@@LinusWilson my glider always goes upwards. I can't get rid of it. As a consequence I cannot sprint. Walking through a vent doesn't do the trick unfortunately.
Finally i pulled it off. But i think that the game downscales weapon damage... I went back with the purple weapons to the earlier territories and the weapons did less damage than the green/blue ones i already had. All weapons ( green,blue,purple ) were stock. No upgrades. Is that possible ?
It’s hard to say. See the pinned comment. If you have gone through a vent or landed on a tallneck then you have cleared the glitch on that save. It won’t ever work again. That was the issue before 1.09. You just need to open up a forbidden west or isle of spires fast travel before you clear the glitch and can never use it again on that or a descendant save.
That's the only reason I would have considered testing this. It annoyed me so much that I couldn't get that 1 tallneck that requires you to fly. Maybe if we ever get new game plus, I'll get that 1 much earlier.

Keep reloading to the most recent save. It will appear closer to the water if u are at the fire.

Your can manually copy your saves. They are in a separate file. Get a PS5 or move it to a better drive.

I've tried and tried to get this to work with no success, is it possible that the last update stopped this from being possible?
It still works. Hit the while sailing up. Hit map immediately. Fast travel.
Know of any fix to let you sprint again after doing it? I think I may have messed up because i cant sprint any more even after reloading the game.
You can’t sprint with the glitch active. Roll or fly.

Doesn't work anymore...I guess they fixed it with patch 1.4.59.0
