I am an ex-Shia and back in the days as a Shia whenever I used to debate with the Christians, I automatically used Sunni arguments and the Sunni understanding of tawheed. I challenge any Shia to convince a Christian to leave the worship of two individuals (Jesus and Mary) and worship 14 individuals (the Prophet, Fatima al-Zahra and the 12 Imams).

I used to be a hardcore devout Shia, until I read and studied the Quran. Then I left the madhab and practises such as Istigatha, which is 100% shirk. There are dozens of verses in the Quran where God says to invoke Him and mocks those that invoke others, as it's a transgression. There's other verses that say others can not hear you, and even if they could, they can not respond. And another verse where those who are invoked, will themselves be disassociating on judgement day from those who invoked them. See for example: 6.40-41, 7.191-194, 35.13-22, 46.4-6, 72.18-20. Invocation is supplication (35.14) and worship (46.6). Also see 40.60 that supplication is worship. These are exclusive to Allah, and it's shirk to supplicate/worship another! Hence why Allah says call upon Him only. Like Him there is naught; He is the All-Hearing and All-Seeing (42.11). Yet man innovates and gives these functions of the Lord to His slaves! Lastly, the buried cannot hear: 35.22. My advise to any Shia reading this comment; Put your sectarian beliefs aside, pick up the Quran and read it with the intention of seeking guidance and you will see how detached Shiaism is from the Quran. The current mainstream Shia madhab have adopted the narrations of the ghulat, who were public enemy no. one of the Shia Imams. So, let me get this straight. I'm a Bosnian Muslim, elhamdulillah, but I don't speak Arabic. I do pray in Arabic, after I have learned the meaning of the Sura's. I want to avoid saying something that I don't understand the meaning of. However, looking at this video, I get the feeling that Sheikh Mohammed is laughing at people who have problems pronouncing Arabic language in a proper way. Why would he do that? Yet again, who is he to judge if someone is a true believer or not? I used to be a hardcore devout Shia, until I read and studied the Quran. Then I left the madhab and practises such as Istigatha, which is 100% shirk. There are dozens of verses in the Quran where God says to invoke Him and mocks those that invoke others, as it's a transgression. There's other verses that say others can not hear you, and even if they could, they can not respond. And another verse where those who are invoked, will themselves be disassociating on judgement day from those who invoked them. See for example: 6.40-41, 7.191-194, 35.13-22, 46.4-6, 72.18-20.
Invocation is supplication (35.14) and worship (46.6). Also see 40.60 that supplication is worship. These are exclusive to Allah, and it's shirk to supplicate/worship another! Hence why Allah says call upon Him only. Like Him there is naught; He is the All-Hearing and All-Seeing (42.11). Yet man innovates and gives these functions of the Lord to His slaves!
Lastly, the buried cannot hear: 35.22. My advise to any Shia reading this comment; Put your sectarian beliefs aside, pick up the Quran and read it with the intention of seeking guidance and you will see how detached Shiaism is from the Quran. The current mainstream Shia madhab have adopted the narrations of the ghulat, who were public enemy no. one of the Shia Imams. See Al-Islaah's channel, who quote Shia hadith that are anti-ghulat and in-line with the Quran. May Allah bless you just as He blessed me and opened my eyes to the Truth, alhamdulillah.

1. What the Shia brother has failed to understand is that Allah gave the Prophets (as) miracles, which were testimony of their prophethood, but these miracles took place DURING their (as) lifetime. We cannot go to their graves or anyone else's grave for help, that's associating partners with Allah and forbidden. Allah protect us from shirk. Ameen
2. We send salutations to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him receives and responds to the salutation in his (peace be upon him) grave, but we cannot see the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in this worldly life (except in dreams) and cannot supplicate to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, which is forbidden.
3. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is the only messenger who was granted the right of intercession on the day of judgment for his ummah and we seek Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him's intercession, but again we ask only Allah for this and try to follow the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to be from his (peace be upon him) ummah.
4. Allah is above His Throne. Allah created Adam (as) and Allah will reveal Himself as Almighty Allah deems fit, to the people of jannah.

So, let me get this straight. I'm a Bosnian Muslim, elhamdulillah, but I don't speak Arabic. I do pray in Arabic, after I have learned the meaning of the Sura's. I want to avoid saying something that I don't understand the meaning of. However, looking at this video, I get the feeling that Sheikh Mohammed is laughing at people who have problems pronouncing Arabic language in a proper way. Why would he do that? Yet again, who is he to judge if someone is a true believer or not? This is the exact reason why Ummah today is not united and we are losing at many fronts, with Palestine as our biggest wound at the moment.
Its is important to learn Arabic If you want to debate with someone about Islam or Quran. For you brother, its ok If you don't know Arabic but you must understand Islamic teaching in any language. But if you want to become a scholar and debate with other people, You must learn basic Arabic Language.

If you want to argue or discuss properly about Islam, you must learn the the sources of religion, Qur'an and Hadith in it's original language of Arabic. Otherwise you will become laughing stock for you opponents.
