I was just watching Hannity and Colmes. Getting ready to talk to Ed McMahon. He is probably driving over to the house right now. How cool is that?
I have a picture of Ed Mcmahon and Johnny Carson framed in my hallway. I have met him before, a few times. He was gracious enough to come shoot some funny promos with me, for The New Tom Green Show that we did on MTV. He also appeared on that show as well.
My good freind Burt Dubrow also got to know Ed a little. Burt and I spend a good portion of our lives, talking about all things The Tonight Show. Burt was a producer on Mike Douglas in his twenties, and went on to create a bunch of amazing talk tv after that. Including creating the Jerry Springer show amoung other things.
So it is just somewhat surreal that Ed Mcmahon is coming over to my house right now. I can't wait to see him, and talk to him, with all of you tonight. On Tom Green LIVE at 11 est. In 45 minutes, or so. This is gonna be fun.
I'm going to go have a cup of coffee.
