    What was the seam allowance that you used? It looks like at each end you made the seam allowance more and made the seam allowance smaller with the inner part, is that right? Thank you!

      Hi Dina! I estimated the opening hole to be about the same size (1 inch) as my elastic width. I then made the seam allowance smaller as I and then finished the other end with the same size.

      It's called a bodkin.
      BoDkin.
      There are also "turning tools" (typically tubes & fitted dowels), or there's a brand name tool known as the "Purple Thang" that laces & pokes.
