This level of commitment and dedication isn’t normal and I definitely appreciate it. She’s weaving her live vocals and ad-libs around her own newly recorded backing tracks while performing with a live band. This could have been a mess or just another unplugged performance instead it’s an eargasm of music so efficiently sung and paced that it could be a sound recording.

Just to point out the fact that Brandy is one of a kind!!! Secondly, the “backing tracks” yes she recorded, however, that mic is on the entire performance. From what I observed from a lot of her performances is that she does not need background singers considering how strategic she uses and KNOWS.. KNOWS🗣 her own voice in which many singers don’t know theirs outside of a studio session. Adlibs live, improvisation live, mouthing the background live all while singing to her own voice aka background recorded vocals. Brandy is a perfectionist in her technique, so if they ever release the rehearsals one day you will see it for yourself. “Been a original since 94!”
