The other guy seemed like he was being intentionally rude not making eye contact and barely giving a fist bump before the first round started. Not the best sportsmanship, and it looked personal or even racial. The Persian dude seemed pretty humble and respectful, he seemed honored to be there and I'm kinda glad he won fair and square. Just because we're at odds with their country, doesn't mean that the majority of their population isn't compromised of decent, humble, hardworking people. It's far more likely that they deal with an insane amount of corruption and tyranny, and simply don't have much of a voice in their politics. I hope all that changes soon, for everyone's sake 🙏
#1 I am happy to see Iranians are in the MMA ranks because I do MMA for fun. Here is what I observed, you can see he is a little raw but he has a strong chin, throws solid punches, and can take a punch himself. Many fighters have a glass jaw, he has potential.
At 3:39 was perfectly timed bij Azizpour. This was the fourth time Londt kicked him (within punching range) on the inside leg of Azizpour. The previous 3 Londt got him with an uppercut afterwards. 1:40, 1:52 and 2:22. This time he made Londt pay for it and got the knockdown. Great fight iq in that sequence.
Londt actually throws that inside kick many times, to follow it up with a hard right uppercut. It's pretty cool how an overhand basically neutralized it
