I’ve been carrying it for a couple months now. I got it in a We the people holster for a Taurus 856.
Yes, it's ok. I have used it for concealed carry. A bit stout with magnums. I prefer revolvers to autos, but I rotate between this and a glock 19. What pisses me off is the movement from 6 to 5 rounds, which started happening about 35 years ago. You never know when you might need that 6th round..pisses me off.

Great video. I just received my Taurus 605 today via a warranty claim. It's smaller and lighter than my old Rossi snub nose. And it has a 5-round cylinder instead of the 6 rounds my Rossi had. But it is much easier to conceal. I can't wait to test it at the gun range tomorrow.

38 will do anything you need it to get the job done with less recoil...I just like the 357 for that extra power, never know if you need to take a bear or hog down, maybe even Crack some ribs under a bullet proof vest...

I've been keeping my eyes open for one of those. For some reason I want the 3 inch model though. Great versatility with 357/38 and with reloads the possibilities are endless. Great video Jesse B! As if I needed anymore convincing, I'll have one before long! Thanks brother!

Sports man warehouse. Has them 3 inch 30 bucks higher at 389. U can always order 1 online have it shipped to your local ffl. Or if u have a gun store that offers order it 4 u. And u pay it off or pay percentage to put it in lay away like I do. Thry can order it 4 u. My gun store offers thst option.thats why I like my gun store bc they'll order it online anywhere 4 uband u can put it layaway or go on and pay it off

I've run a couple cylinders of my full house H110 powder 158 grain loads thru mine.
It can be painful and the trigger guard and cylinder release can nail your knuckles if you aren't careful!

I have the 605 Poly and I love it. It shoots .38 w/o much recoil, BUT .357 can be a bit taxing, especially if they're heavy and/or hot .357 rounds. I carry 110 grain Remington, HTP in mine and those aren't that bad considering it's .357, everything else is pretty intense. I'd say +P rounds are the most fun to shoot at the range.
I carry 110gr Hornady +P in mine. I also reload a lot of +P to shoot in mine. Thanks for watching.

I hear nothing but good things about the 605. It's great for a carry gun. I'm sure there are plenty of after market grips if you decide you want to replace the factory ones.
I don’t plan on shooting a lot of 357 in it. I actually like the grip shooting 38 special and +P in it. Thanks for watching 👍

I just put one on layaway yesterday. Going to get it out early, I am really eyeing some of those 158 grain JSPs

Replace those Taurus grips with bigger better Hogue grips! It’s a world of difference!! Better recoil better control.
I wouldn't trade mine for anything, and those 38+p sjhp rounds are what I carry to mitigate recoil and still get good performance. The stainless matte is hard to mess up also. got mine hardly used for $335 back in 2020.

I’m starting to become a revolver fan. I had none a year ago and now I have 4 lol.
I finally received my new 605 357 Snubbie and took it to my indoor range yesterday. Factory 38 specials were easily controllable BUTTTTTTT the factory 357's were brutal and kicked more than a 6 inch 44 MAG revolver! The grip is just too small and isn't comfortable. Elevation accuracy @ 10 yards was perfect but I was shooting about 3 inches to the left consistently, which was me and not the Revolver. If I keep the pistol I will certainly be replacing the Grip with a larger/ longer one. 1-12-23

Can you explain the difference between single and double action?
Double action the trigger cocks the hammer and releases the hammer. Single action the trigger just releases the hammer.

+P is a good choice because a full 357 ain’t worth the abuse ( including ears) in a small snub and it’s not burning all the powder. 👍

I have a huge tote filled with with reloading equipment I seen .38 and .357 enough to load properly 2000 rounds all the equipment scales press calibers brass bullets jars unopened powder primers everything and lots more I’ve never reloaded and want to sell don’t know what to ask and scared I’m going to get ripped off any advice
Depends on what all you have. It’s hard to tell without seeing everything.
@@jesseboutdoors idk anyone around here I moved away from my hometown and I go down to the local store but I don’t anyone especially enough to trust that I’m not getting a way too short end of a twig but I was offered 200 and and I held off till I find out
I feel almost no recoil with 158gr hp.
