Boats looks great, amazing detail on the glassing. I’m watching your previous videos seeing how far it’s come! That boat is now a lot stronger than the factory build.
Gday mate another great video ,here in S.A. we have the same problem and its a pain ,you are lucky to have a shed to work in i only have a drafty carport plus hard to glass when there is a lot of moisture and low temps , some of the peices i have had to glue in the ol banger i just used the old method of talc and poly resin but it is tough as , for filler i use chopped strands and resin basically what the boat was made from originally and any small fills just use car bog only problem is it kicks to quick anyway hopefully good weather soon .
Awsome job so far, wish I had a shed that large to I could do my little half cabin....still lshows that you just need a shed and can do it all yourself.....with an Uncle on the stand by lol
hey mate! coming up I’ve got a lot of sanding to do, just wondering what you said the sanding bit was called that you used? Was it flexovit something? what type in particular? Cheers man
Hey buddy thanks for watching! Yep this is the link to what I used (bunnings website!) www.bunnings.com.au/flexovit-115-x-22-x-23mm-stripping-ripper-grinding-disc_p0116160
I was really starting to wonder how you were going to drain your "anchor well" then at the end you said the drum winch was going outside. Now i get it.. :-)
We're will the water go from your acorhor chain .but I like your work.did you lbs the craft before and after your rebuild two 1 1/2 mat 1078 in the middle saves weight and resion.
