Nice mate keeps it nice and light in the rear what was the spray you used on the melamine plywood before you layed the fiberglass

you should add scuppers at deck level through the transom and build up a curb around the aft bilge so the majority of water runs out with gravity without the use of the bilge pumps. just my 2 cents

Wow, you definitely take on some monster projects. I was looking at a little Caribbean 16ft er with some delamination and other small issues and got scared, but getting a shipwright to do the work is massively expensive and I can see why.
Kudos to you, it’ll be one solid brick of a boat, just need a couple of really efficient outboards to push it.

Since it's the cool time of the year in your area of the world I'm wondering what the usable working time you are getting with your resin and epoxy, and how long is it taking for the layups to cure?

Gday mate good work did the realease agent work ok ? those ryobi vacs are the bees knees really good wish i had bought one sooner , that end is a cake walk youll piss it in one thing i may have done would have been put a stiffner on some of the glass areas where it seems floppy same on your side panels small strip of plu glassed on just to strengthen it last thing you want is someone losing their balance and crashing into it and splitting/cracking it .

Hey mate, worked well, i used the spray Wax called (J-WAX). having the lockers now tie into the side pockets everything is now very solid! good eye!
      Thanks for watching :)

Where and who do you acquire all your Fibreglassing materials from?
Another question, did you consider using thermolite instead of ply at any stage?
Nice Work by the way, great to see that your not taking any short cuts and being a perfectionist👍🏼

Many could learn some fiberglass application technique by watching your videos. So many videos out there with poor skills. Can't tell you how many vids I see with people trying to wet out large areas with a chip brush and only using CSM. Good job.

Have you ever considered building a boat from scratch? Can't be much more complicated.

    • @AngryMackAdventures

Mate, I think that it would be easier lol!! Thanks for watching :)

Dude definately need to have your dad talk as much as possible in all your videos. His voice/accent is extremely entertaining. I'd recommend having him get upset about a glass layup or something and go off on a super aussie tangent. "You call that a layup?? Now this is a layup!!!" Etc. Hahahah

I was under the impression epoxy mixture ratios are by volume, not weight. And I keep seeing you weighing out your mixtures. Any reason why?

    • @AngryMackAdventures
      @AngryMackAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Andrew you are correct. I’m weighing my vinylester resin
If you see earlier videos doing transom the epoxy is done by volume :)

@@AngryMackAdventures appreciate the response. Loving the ideas I'm getting from your rebuild. My 25 foot (7.5 meter) CC boat is still brand new and I'm about to chop it up to make changes. Lol.
