Second look and LOWER the grade? LOL!!! As a teacher/professor, that is HILARIOUS! I'll use that one.

Thanks Brian, just took a look at your TH-cam Channel. You really need a lot more subscribers and post more videos - they are really good.

E-sword has been awesome for me. I absolutely love it.

Blue Letter Bible is a pretty incredible free resource, especially on the "desktop" version. Thanks for this rundown!

Thanks Joseph, it is always great to have opinions and views from other people - it really helps people make an informed decision.

I have e-sword, BLB, Logos,Olive Tree, Accordance, and I use them all. when I can’t find something in one I simply look to another and yes I am looking to purchase a payed plan of Logos or Accordance just haven’t made a defiant decision yet. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions and advice. Your videos great to watch.

I have had E-Sword for years and is an anazing in my opinion. Ease of us and relevant information can't be beat

Thanks. It is great to hear feedback about how others use and find the software rather than just my opinions.

Blue letter is a great study tool, I love that I can search the Strong’s number and bring up Strong’s info, vines definitions, and thayers lexicon all on the same page.
On a side note from a denominational perspective if you appreciate the viewpoint of Calvary chapel, the audio commentaries are a gold mine. thousands of sermons from Chuck Smith, Chuck Missler etc.

That’s exactly the type of feedback that others will find useful. Thanks.

My first choice is Logos Basic for free. It is limited to their LEB Bible translation, but you get the Lexham Bible Dictionary, an excellent up-to-date resource, and the Faithlife Study Bible, not well known but usable. A big plus point is that they give a couple of free books every month, some of which are commentaries. All these at no cost. And the free software is excellent on both desktop and mobile.
Second choice is Olive Tree. You get several good modern translations for free, and you can get the very good ESV Global Study Bible for free also. However you are stuck with outdated free Bible dictionaries. This would be the choice to keep things simple. But if you intend on going further, the feature set simply cannot compare to Logos.
As for Accordance, it doesn’t meet the video’s criteria at the free tier.
Thanks for this video with good points made.

Have a look at Bible Analyzer too, it might just become your go to Bible Software... Paid modules to add is not expensive either.

Absolutely agree! I've been using it for years and it has TONS and TONS of free, downloadable modules.

I do not see you mentioning Bible Analyzer. I find it more powerful than e-Sword and other free Bible software.
