Job 38 God speaks out of the whirlwind Through the eye wall of the storm He finds himself in thunders home A swirling tempest all around He flys aloft above the ground The darkness swells on rolling clouds A piercing light from trumpets loud A grasp of breath a silent cry He stands within the Mighty eye A still and peaceful crowns abode He utters forth a Royal poem Assured of life with peace within He rides the eyewall of the wind And landing safely on the earth He tells the story of rebirth Of life again from deaths abode He spreads the truth along the road A life that's lost can rise again Inside the eye wall of the wind JS 2017 Thank God for the KJV.

It's an obvious story of Jesus and the grace he was about to give the world. He is forgiveness, repentance and all that's needed is Faith. The unclean spirit obviously prostrated itself, confessed who Jesus IS. It was forgiven, cast into the pigs and with the death of the pigs, the spirit can now be forgiven and enter the kingdom of heaven.

@@TheCaffeinatedBible Sorry if I sounded like a snit. I watched a Logos video the other day (which is why yours appeared) and they made it sound like you'll never understand the Bible without their software. I understand the convenience if you can afford it, but all of my professors in the 1980s managed to get their PhDs without it. We'll never know all there is to know, and all we really need to know is the Grace of God's gift. That was not a Tyndall bible....the whole point of him being executed by the crown , church and state was because he was secretly translating the bible from the Latin version you just seen to an English version any self educated student would easily grasp and understand . Latin was only taught to the ruling class but the rulers needed subjects that understood the chore that was supposed to be accomplished for the administrative actions delegated to them as subjects by there masters executive orders .Tyndall mastered their language and then translated it into a story that's as easy as a James Paterson novel or the kids menu at McDonald's....or as easy as listening to an old dude who has more energy than a bullet in flight and 10 times the honor and patriotism then an evil middle class cackling prosecutor could conjure up at a Dante Allegeri enferno party w Freddy Kruger as dj and top child molester recruitment agent for the O,Billarys That was not a Tyndall bible. Plus the very first page of a Tyndall has a cryptic and powerful note by him ,the author , who gladly sat in his cell knowing that once he finished his translating from Latin to English he like Jesus was going to be executed as a heretic..so he sat in secrecy by candle light scribing the word that he was to be executed for speaking . Thank God for God's people and their willingness to be in a conspiracy against their governments and employers , just so common people could read and interpret something so small as God's words lo and behold that bible was secretly written and then safely spirited away by a corrupt jailer who was eager to help the doomed Tyndall get his works done .....They killed mr. Tyndall, but in the end he goes down as a saint or a martyr or a man of principal ...No matter that was not a Tyndall ....D

What's wrong is the depiction of Jesus. We have no clue of his appearance, but I can assure you he wasn't European. He was hidden from capture from King Herod; as a result of King Herod wanting all newborns under a certain age, killed, Jesus was hidden among the land of Egypt(Africa)

Well you’re gonna have to take those questions up with the guys creating all the AI art work. I just typed in what I wanted for a thumbnail and AI did the rest.

Do you have any resource recommendations for textual observations?

By textual observations are you referring to differences between the earliest manuscripts? I am going to take that as the question and go from there - let me know if I got this wrong. The first thing I would say is that most (if not all) the resources that discuss textual variations require a pretty solid knowledge of Greek or Hebrew. The firs starting point would be the textual notes in the UBS 28 or the NA28 Greek New Testaments. This will just give you a listing and rating of the different variations and really require some little grey cells to work your way through. A step up from that is Metzger's "A Textual Commentary on the Greek New New Testament." It will include a discussion of the variants, why they decided this was the best choice and their reasoning. But it needs to be updated. Comfort's "New Testament Text and Translatoin Commentary" is more detailed and has longer comments. It is also more up to date. Finally, some of the study Bibles have good textual notes. The ESV Study Bible has easy to understand discussions. The NET Bible has more discussion thant the ESV but they often require a Greek or Hebrw to grasp their point. Finally, there are database texts that will provide the most detail but are much more techinical in nature. For the New Testament the "Center for NT Textual Studies NT Critical Apparatus" is one of the better tools. For the Greek version of the OT there is the "Critical Apparatus to the Cambridge Edition of the Greek Septuagint." On the Hebrew side the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia (BHS) has a strong textual apparatus. Brotzman's" Old Testament Textual Criticism: A Practical Introduction" is a great place to start with learning about OT textual criticism. What I would recommend is starting with the study Bibles (esp the NET notes - usually marked with a TC for textual criticism). A more academic level commentary (like the Word Biblical Commentary) will include disucssions of the various textual variants as well - and often in much easier to understand English.
