Thanks a Lot for filming this Parade in the heat of that day! Jersey in Action. Very nice. I also saw grouville group (the one with the ghost train) when they were Working in the Hall two days before the event. Glue and Flowers everywhere. Very exciting for me!
I was There: too. I am from Mainz in Germany. I was late though and had my Bike with me: so i had to wait until 5 o'clock until the bikes would be let in. As i never had Seen it , they allowed me to get in at 5 to 5 so I Could At least See the Last Caravans or cars.... nice to see: really!
Are "Standing Only" Tickets suffiiecient do you think? Dont really want to be sat in seats with 2 kids for a couple of hours. Do you need tickets to see the parade or can you just watch from a distance
Hi mate, you need tickets to get in to see the event, it’s boarded-up from the road above. Ive always gone with standing tickets, get there a little early and as you walk into the arena at the eastern end, there’s a low stone wall to your right in front of the grassy area, makes a perfect seat, there’s space for the kids to play behind you if they get bored and it’s closer to the toilets. 🍻
Certainly nothing like it used to be,in 70’s 80’s even 90’s it was a sell out, packed all the way along the front with people and stands, you couldn’t move with tourists. It’s had its best days long ago!
