- Yellow Aster Butte is a famous trail in the North Cascades located in the Mount Baker Wilderness, Washington and in proximity to the U.S. - Canadian border.
It offers stunning views of Mount Baker, Tomyhoi Peak and Tomyhoi lake, Mt. Shuksan, U.S.- Canadian border peaks, wildflowers in summer and colorful fall foliage in autumn.

Such a lovely area to walk and what a day. It was great to see Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan. We had a very beautiful day close to those peaks at the start of an eight week road trip the autumn before Covid. Would love to come back and see more. Those autumn colours were simply magical. Have a really wonderful 2023.

What a beautiful hiking trail! We have never been here yet but we heard a lot of wonderful places on this area. It is always nice to discover and explore new places like this. Definitely an amazing adventure and a time well spent. This is absolutely a breathtaking scenery not to be missed.
