Backpacked Mount Townsend in buckhorn wilderness in august, loop style on the silver lake trail and Little Quilcene trail. Absolutely amazing region and trip. Perfect for all skill levels with tons of views above tree line. Welch mountains make for a grand entrance to silver lake. Did this over 2 days 1 night with camp being at camp windy. Another one in the books!
