- There's plenty of quick drivers in F1 junior programs, and although they have a limited talent pool, Mercedes are no exception. In this video I'll be giving an overview on how Mercedes have treated their junior drivers in the past as well as speculating on where a couple of them could be in the future. Enjoy!

It definitely did, Red Bull couldn't give their juniors time to develop after that. They were all thrown in at the deep end.

That's a great idea! Since Ricciardo they've just thrown their juniors in at the deep end and like you said have been a mess ever since.

I would love to see a teammate battle, but from Mercedes' perspective if they're winning with a clear number 1/number 2 lineup then why would you change it?

Yea it is nowadays its money over talent like how Mazepin got a seat over Callum
I liked Marcus but Pascal had more natural talent. I don't blame Sauber though the fault lies with Mercedes.

They do seem to focus on one guy dont they...
They definitely have limited options. Without Vesti they only have a couple of drivers under 18 that won't be near F1 in the near future.
Agree about Pascal but he did make some silly mistakes towards the end of his f1 career tho
I agree, but he was only in his second season of F1 and was still really young at the time
