- Toto Wolff is the current team prinicpal and CEO of Mercedes. In this video, I'm delving deeper into his backstory and his journey to the pinnacle of motorsport, whilst also explaining how he's an integral part of Mercedes' success in F1. I hope you enjoy it!

Crazy, i watch F1 for so many years now but actually never thought about who Toto really is. And now i get told that he was a race driver and made many investments and stuff.
This man is a maker.
Thanks that vid made me appreciate Toto even more now, i hope he stays in F1 for many years to come.
Glad I could inform you! He's a great man and a leader on and off the track. He's also probably the main reason why Mercedes are where they are today in F1.

Toto's influence in mercedes is indeed immense, however one must not forget the likes of Nick Fry, Ross Brawn and Bob Bell. They were the one's who laid the foundation of the behemoth that would become mercedes. In all honesty, the working environment within that team came about from the hardship they endured during 2009. Such instances tend to reinforce team moral and resolve. Once the likes of Aldo costa, Mike Elliot, Geoff Willis and now James Allison came aboard, it was a wrap for the competition.
Fans ought to take the time to research the immense wealth of technical firepower situated in brackley, it's mind-bending. And thank you for giving the chassis credit, too often people claim it's merely the engine. Cheers.👍
