This may be the last big job!! Is it? Probably not. However it really is an enormous milestone that we've reached with the hot water. We can't wait to get away camping.

Great to see how chuffed you are about the hot water working, very well done 👍
Can't beat that excitement and joy when the hard work pays off! Keep up the good work 💪
Concerning the valve: open is open. You don’t need to open it all the way. The flow will be slower but that’s actually better. Most plumbers will advise you to not open valves completely.
Hi guys. Been watching your vids on/off for a while now. Just binge watched most of your build vids in the last couple of days and wanted to say how enjoyable and inspirational they are. We will be moving up to a Crafter from a Transporter at the end of the summer and your vids will help me no end with my own conversion. Excellent content!!
That’s a lovely message to receive. Thank you very much. Good luck with your conversion, it’s certainly not easy but we have just had two weeks in France in ours and it’s well worth it. Thanks again
Shaun, I have almost exactly the same setup in my Crafter, installed by myself a few months ago. The reason you weren't initially getting any hot water flowing is because you need to leave the hot tap open to allow the tank to fill. Otherwise there's nowhere for the air that was in the tank to go. So the gurgling you heard was the tank filling for the first time. It's 10 litres so takes a while. The reason it was probably cold when it eventually came through is because the small amount of water that was initially heated in the tank would have quickly been diluted with cold water. You're doing a good job, best of luck👍🏼
It's great to see the progress on the van, hot water brilliant mate, and the vans looking so different. I loved the video as always.
All the best
Kev
Great job, you’ve been a busy bee, very interesting, I share you excitement! Keep going mate!
Total respect and admiration on your efforts.. Very well done!!
Fab viewing as ever. About to do up my own green Crafter, bought from the same garage as yours! What's the score with separation of 13A sockets from water sources: I was prompted to ask by your reveal of the tap, with the angled counter-top 13A double socket in the back of shot...?
From what I can make out, caravan and motorhome specific electrical regulations don’t delve that deeply into the specifics. It talks more about the requirement for double pole isolators, RCDs etc and it would be nearly impossible to meet the specific requirements of domestic bathrooms and kitchens in such a tight space. We have chosen to just exercise caution. The sink is pretty small so we aren’t going to be chucking lots of water around and the protection from the RCD does give some peace of mind at least.
Good question though and thank you very much for watching our channel.
Well done I could see the steam from the tap brilliant mate.
Nice one, that felling of actually installing hot water and runs warm through the tap, Nice achievement.
Thank you very much 😊👍
I always get dribbles from a water filler however hard I try to avoid them, so I reckon an outside filler point makes life easier - especially when the hose falls out.
Excellent 🎉
Brilliant video mate, fantastic job you’re doing, hard work paying off 👍🏻
You prob already know, opening the hot tap fills the 10l tank 👍 you only need to once until you drain it for winter 👍 good work
Hi great video im just installing the same bobil system as yours so hopefully have hot water 😊
Congratulations. Next step, drains. And getting the DC completed. Then the van will be useable, even if not completed.
Thank you very much. We will keep at it and we can’t wait to get away in the camper.
Brilliant. So exciting
I am always at pains to tell my customers....if the water pump keeps kicking in, there is probably a leak, so dont ignore it.....Unless of course its a Bailey that isnt yours😂😂😂😂. You are probably aware, but you can assign one of the relays on the Cerbo to the pump, which will allow you to turn it on and off via the victron touch screen .
Ah I had forgotten about that feature to be honest. I’m definitely not using the Cerbo to its full potential. Thanks for letting me know.
@@ABusAndBeyond once you have it fully set up you should be able to turn on the pump and also the inverter.
Good job Sir!
Good work Chap
It’s done now but from what I understand is you have your tap open while filling the tank
Well done great job
Random-ish question. Is the tank drinking water? i.e. drink straight out of it? If so, what's the cleaning regime? If not, what do you do for drinking water in any kind of camper or motorhome?
We don’t use our tanks for drinking. We usually have separate bottles in the fridge for drinking. We use the water from the tank for cooking, boiling for hot drinks and washing.
@@ABusAndBeyond good to know, thanks!
Some fit a water filtration system
Well done mate... Massive achievement !! You need a pint in the rising sun to celebrate ! 🤣
Absolutely!
Was just wondering where your next video was, an hour later and there it was! 👍
Sorry yeah those pesky kids keep getting in the way 😂
@ABusAndBeyond shaun put the kids in the boot to stop them interfering 😂 offcourse I'm kidding 😉
What is the water tank sensor make and model ? Got the same tank
I ordered it from Wema UK. Just need to buy the right length for your tank 👍

Sorry, slightly off topic, have you guys had a chance to review the Hymer Explorer S? Currently stuck trying to decipher German ones.
I haven’t seen the Explorer S and can’t find anything about it. I’ve seen a Venture S and Free S but not an Explorer 🤷♂️
@@ABusAndBeyondsorry Venture S, are you guys planning to review it?
Ahh so you are drinking the tank water? I guess an inside rather than underslung helps a bit here!
No we don’t drink it unless it’s been boiled. We just use it for hot drinks, washing and cooking
