    I love Harvey's. It's definitely a nostalgic place and taste. That's why we need an outsider to give some perspective! Do you agree with him? Also, how do you top your burger? I'll go first...EVERYTHING please.

      I agree that the burger patty itself doesn't have much flavour but McDonald's also doesn't. I think Wendy's has the best fast food burgers if you're just tasting the burger, then Burger King, Harvey's, McDonalds and last is Dairy Queen (their chicken fingers are the best but burgers are not so good)..

    • @jedisix
      @jedisix 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      As a Canadian, I have to agree with Jason. Harvey's does have a 'rubbery' meat. The joy of a Harvey's burger lies in the toppings, not in the patty. The patty ain't great, but the bun and the topping selection is the selling point.
      DO MORE HARVEY'S... you've got is going on, but you NEED to play the game heavier.

    The first Harvey's was opened on the southeast corner of Younge and Observatory Lane in Richmond Hill. Here's a little trivia most people don't know about how it got it's name. The founder is the same guy who founded Swiss Chalet, when he opened his first burger joint he didn't have a lot of money because most of his funds were tied up in his Swiss Chalet restaurants. He hadn't named it yet and there was a used car dealership that went out of business called Harvey's, he liked the name and to save money he acquired the sign either free or very cheap, that part I'm not sure of.

      You are right; ingredients for Harvey's original burger: beef, water, toasted wheat crumbs, salt, wheat flour, modified milk ingredients, hydrolyzed plant protein, onion powder, spices, sugar, dextrose, yeast extract, garlic powder

      Don't harp about the ice. Three rating was BS. Beef is fresh, not frozen, & Canadian.
      McD gives choice of only ONE sauce. Very disappointed with your reviews.

    Yeah I grew up with Harvey’s and love loading everything except lettuce (just too McDonald’s like) on my burger but I will say that the fries were mega awesome years ago when they were fresh cut fries.

    I adore Harvey's. But I describe them as sort-of-meat that is oddly 70s-ish
