Evening all! We’re kicking off 2024 resuming the Euro-trip with a few episodes in Sweden…
I hope you enjoy the first one and thanks again for coming back week in week out last year!
I’m currently traversing the rural wilderness of South Carolina, so if I’m a bit less involved in the comments section than usual you’ll have to let me off 😂

This guy is nuts. Normally not a fan of watching people eat but this guy is awesome. It's not just crazy stuff he eats he seems like a genuinely cool guy. He's always so polite to everyone makes me root for him even though at this point I know he's gonna finish everytime.
The chef laughing along, having fun. The transparency with weighing it all in front of you and choosing toppings. No hesitation in giving prizes. If im ever in Sweden you bet I'll be going to ROST.
Same! That chef is a very cool dude :)
im in Denmark... i would love to go there to have a burger...
The food looks amazing too!
Yeah the challenge rules are so good. There's no bs backstabbing like oh yeah I decided to give you extra f***ing fries just because.

This whole vid is one of my faves. The amazed guy on the bike, the astounded looks of the chef and the fact there wasn't a dodgy mountain of chips!!
The chef expression was priceless as he was watching you. The guy on the bike could not believe he met you, he was so excited.
In all his years as a chef, he'd seen nothing like it. The child-like joy on his face as he saw a man eat 3kgs of burger in under 15 mins was marvelous to watch!
He was so happy, like a kid on x-mas! The best part is that I got happy, watching how happy he was! :D Mr Beards vids are just putting smile on peoples faces!

Jonas (The chef) is a really wholesome dude! He came second in a swedish program called Dessertmästarna (Champions of dessert). Made absolute stunning desserts in that show, and the burgers at Rost are really good.
I was gonna say that Crème Brûlée looked like the nicest thing I’ve seen dessert wise for years!

The chef was 100% the best audience I've seen on your channel! Happy you got to meet some real Swedes. Looked like you happily shocked the guy on the bike. Usually cold @ first but get to know one, the warmest, nicest people around. In Sweden & rest of Scandinavia locals are so genuine. If Molly Schuyler ever visits, you're going to have to come back though 😅 I like this format of showing some of the local/ocations besides just your hotel & the inside of the restaurant. This one you appeared not oddly @ home. You should have asked the chef to put on ABBA? I'd have loved to see his reaction given the decor. Please do another "Brother/Sister Beard" episode or 3 please ITF.
All the respect to you Adam, I*m a big tall guy and can smash a 300g burger with fries but then I feel sick for 2 hours. The amount you can eat is truly staggering.

And the way that other guy walked you to the place like he was showing his friend around town. Small town Europeans are genuinely some of the nicest folks I've meet in my travels.
I like this guy soooo much. Like in the beginning when he told the older man to tell his wife hi (only because the man mentioned his wife first) and then immediately realized that saying that might sound a little creepy so he said "not in a weird way". ,much respect
The Chef looked like a proud father throughout that challenge 😂😂 I cried laughing seeing how happy he was.
For someone who cooks as a career, you're (at least should be) goal is to make people happy by enjoying your cuisine. There really is a difference in something that was made to get it out / finished compared to putting love in a dish. I've seen it for years. I cooked professionally for 24 years. It's weird the things you pick up on
On top of that if a dude who eats food challenges or eats a lot of food for a living compliments your food, You did something right.

Can we just appreciate the level of English from Scandinavian people? Coming from France myself, there's a lot to learn from their education system. Another great video Adam!
English classes start in first grade now here in Norway, but most kids game online also, so the proficiency level is higher than it was even when I started school in ‘91
well that chef speaks way better english than most people in there
A lot of the Swedes have a fantastic grasp of English, same as the Norwegians. Also the women are damn fine too.
nobody needs school to learn english or anything nowadays , the main problem of french people is the habit of waiting after the government to do everything for them
I mean, you French have a beautiful language. But we (France, Spain, Italy and German) suffer from all the same: everything was translated into our languages in the 80,90,0s, so there was never really a reason to learn English. Nowadays, it's luckily different and more and more people speak English. But it will still take 1 or 2 more generations to have the proper English baseline around Europe. Gotta respect the Scandinavians and Dutch for being ahead the curve!
the chefs smile made me so happy, this is my new favorite of your videos!
