Using cammy is super easy thanks to her speed. Any answers for Ryu? I don't think there is any if you are on Burnout.
Ryu has good buttons, and good jump buttons. St MK, hop kick, st HP, st MP, high blade kick, throw game and DR strike/throw/high/low mixups

I literally answered your question. Use those buttons. Get better at neutral and those buttons will help you.
as a cammy main, strangely, Ryu is prolly my worst matchup. I dunno why i struggle so much against him. I have an easier time beating Ken and Akuma. As crazy as Akuma is, he never gives me the problems that Ryu does
@@nunyabizwacks6711 Same here. Ryu - Cammy is a difficult match for both sides.
What I see a lot of Ryu mains doing is go for fake strings for plus frames. If you see Ryu going for any button into Heavy Hashogeki on blockstring, jab him out of the Haskogeki. Don't abuse that though, he may start going for real frametraps and you'll get hit.
Also try to stay a bit closer to him than you would against other characters. Ryu players love to spam spaced-out donkey kicks, so staying in that range will make Ryu choose between 3 things: use his buttons against Cammy (which has better close range buttons like cr.MP, st.MP, st.LK, etc.), back up or try to skip neutral in some way (jump, drive rush, drive impact, etc.). Whatever he does, you have the upper hand.
Also try to parry donkey kick. It's pretty obvious when he's about to do it and the animation is long enough for you to atleast try to perfect parry.
Most Ryu players also seem to be pretty patient compared to Ken and Akuma mains, so if you're on the offense, going for knowledge checks, hooligans, drive rushes, etc. may not outright win you the game but will get them out of their comfort zone where you'll be able to punish them.
How do i fight people that walk backwards? I know to let them hit the corner but whenever I approach i get punched and comboed fought a Jamie player that kept backing up and punishing me for approaching
You haze to play safe and consistent and wait for them to do something wrong.

this is not a real gimmick, ur mostly getting hit because of bad inputs and bad pressure. by the way, the game is designed in this jabs are minus on block so you have to delay button/RPS on block situation. Also to most still novice players, mashing jab is not "pressure"

It's not a gimmick It's outplaying fools😂. Really though it's a classic spacing trap and every character has them, some better than others, Luke specifically is a walking spacing trap, the core of his design from SFV was just beating traditional buttons with all the retracting hurtboxes nonsense
In my understanding a gimmick is cheap trick that can be easily avoided. But yeah I'm not a Jamie main so thnx for clearing that for us big up💪💪💪💪!!!
this is mos def a gimmick. If you can press one button in an entire matchup and stand a chance of winning it, its a gimmick
