These Womet-Tech bar ends will protect your motorcycle in case of a crash or a fall, and add style to your ride. They were designed with a little extra length to protect the fairings and controls in most crashes. The combination of delrin and aluminum gives them a unique functional design. The high density polymer will absorb some of the impact during a crash, and help to slide instead of catching.

Are the bar ends weighted? I'm in search for some that would help reduce vibration.

+citizensauto They are made of aluminum and delrin, and weigh less than the OEM barends they replace. If you want weighted ones I would propose that you stick with OEM. Even with the extra weight the vibration reduction is very, very insignificant.

please, is it possible to remove the "screw/cap" insode the clipon, the one that you screw the bar end bolt into? this is just for bar ends with screw bolt on, what if you want to install bar ends with expanding sockets?
    otherwise, great video!

+Swedish BikeClips It is possible to remove that insert. You can use a slide hammer and a screw that threads into that size thread. Thread in the screw only partially so that the insert does not expand and bang the hammer in the outward direction. If you don't have a slide hammer then I suppose you can just thread in that screw and use locking pliers to pull the insert out.

+Samurai H (SamuraiHg) We typically do after-shots in each video to show what the components look like on the bike after installation. We did a couple installs on this bike and then had a single after-shot session to capture all the images and video in one session. This is why you see the racing levers at 2.29. Good eye Samuai H. Unfortunately we do not manufacture our levers for your YZF125R so we can't hook you up on that. What can we help you out with? Those bikes are not available for R&D in the USA so I don't know if there is anything we have in stock that would appeal to you.

Just tried to put on some new bar ends (screw in, not expansion), and it's making my throttle stick completely. Bar end isn't touching my grip or throttle tube. And my grip isn't rubbing on the throttle cable housing. Any ideas?

We can troubleshoot with is after new years. Our office is closed for the day. Please do not use the bar end that is binding the throttle tube for the moment and contact our support staff.

@@TSTindustries Wow, responding on New Years is commendable. Good news, I discovered the throttle cable housing was originally installed incorrectly on my 14' R1, and I unknowingly installed it correctly and it's all good. Appreciate the reply. You got a new sub.

Very confused.....have a 2010 R1 and my current bar end is smooth, and has no bolt inside it?

How does it attach to the bar? It must be something aftermarket because Yamaha has been using the same anchor system for the bar ends since the 90's

I have a 2013 R6 and cannot get the end bars off?

That sounds like the anchors are spinning with the screw. Do you have an impact gun? If so, you can put the appropriate tool on the gun, insert it into the screw, force the screw and bar end off-axis with the bar, and then hit the gun in spurts. That has worked for me in the past. Otherwise you may have to extract the bar ends with anchors and that may render your anchors no longer usable. At this point you would just need to use universal type bar end like these: tstindustries.com/Womet-Tech-Expansion-Locking-Bar-Ends.html
