Fifty-thousand dollars was a lot of money in 1990...probably the equivalent of $150,000 now. Plus, think of the value it added to the home by filming this iconic movie here.

Lots of interesting stuff. First time I have seen the school used for the interior scenes. Keep them coming!

I believe you do actually see his bedroom. When he first approached his brother Jeff and tells him he doesn't know how to pack a suitcase, they are in a room with bunk beds. Since him, Buzz, and Jeff are the only boys, I assumed that was the room Kevin shared with Jeff

So much interesting stuff! My 5yo has a fear of us leaving him so Home Alone is a horror film to him right now, but, as soon as he's ready for it, we'll watch it together.

Nice job Justin! You always do such a wonderful job on your videos...very interesting! I have to admit this (and please don't hate me for it) but I have never seen Home Alone. I know...call me crazy...but it is now on my list to look for and watch (this video has inspired me...LOL!). I really loved all the location comparision shots...it's amazing it looks the same 30 years later! Looking forward to your next adventure...have a Wonderful Holiday Season!!!
