The Brooks Lake area is somewhat of an unknown gem. It gets very cool at night even in the middle of summer there generally and is known grizzly territory. I need to get back there for a visit.
It really is as beautiful as anywhere I've been, and I've talked to quite a few locals who've had gizzly encounters up there. It's one of those places that lived in the back of my mind, that I need to make it back there when I have more time to really explore.

Yeah this is one of my favorite spots I’ve ever come across, someday I want to come back here and do a longer multi day route.
