Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. Knowing that Sultan Murad will not stop anymore, Kösem Sultan takes measures to protect Şehzade İbrahim.

Tbh Sultan Murad was no hero. He himself was an alcoholic and died of cirrhosis due to his excessive drinking. You could call him a good general and a strong warrior. But he wasn't a just ruler. And any attempt to portray him as such would be futile.

We need to judge actions according to their era and norms of that time. He was pretty tough and cruel in times. But maybe that was needed at that time. We dont really know
We actually know, be week ruler was fastest way to be dead or become puppet is you are lucky. I wouldn't call it tough and cruel times it was how world worked in that era. Resources were precious so everybody was looking for any sign of weakness and weak people in charge were dangerous for whole country. God know world need little bit of autocratic rule to deal with some issues rather never-ending "discussions" with no results.
