- Jesus is depicted as the fulfillment of many Old Testament types, such as Joseph, Moses, David, Elijah, Elisha, and so on. In this week's video see some of the types Jesus is fulfilling in the readings for the 1st Sunday of Lent, in particular Jesus being a New Adam.

So Jesus is inviting us back to the garden through the 40 days of lent?
The Angels ministered JESUS..bcoz God manifested in flesh
Can we think of yeshua as the younger brother of Adam instead of the new Adam? If we did would it not mirror the bible as well in the way that the older will now serve the younger?
No, Yeshua is for all of eternity not the younger brother of Adam, nor is He "the new Adam".
Jesus was sent as the LAST Adam to undo all the wrong that was done by the first Adam. Rom 5:12-21
Yeshua is God who became flesh in order to be the Savior of the entire world.
Let's not forget also that Adam and Eve lived in peace with the animals before the fall, they were supposed and commended to eat plants (the second command given to humans by God, genesis 1: 29) and were the custodians of the earth. And so did Jesus lived in peace with the animal in the wilderness; fasting, especially abstinence from animal products (as in the eastern orthodoxy fasting rules) is an expression of peaceful, virtuous and spiritual living. And Jesus came to bring and to install peace in the world, for all nature, including between humans and animalas, as God took not only a human body, but implicitly a natural one. And so do we are supposed to follow Jesus and to be peaceful, not only with other humans, but also with all other animals, and to be the consciousness and the witnesses of the world, the image of God in the living world.
The woman of 12 Oholibah had to repent and have faith in the healing power of Jesus before the child of 12 could be woken and walk again in her adoptive catholic family and faith - they are one and the same - He is All That Is
Jesus wasn't a Catholic.
And it's all prior to receiving the bride- Eve for Adam and the Church for Jesus.

Its a protestant understanding of things. As St. Augustine says God the Holy Ghost came in the form of dove to manifest the full power of Christ.
Dr. Pitre relies more on Protestant interpretation then Catholic, he’s unfortunately a modernist heretic and needs to convert to Traditional Catholicism.
The Holy Spirit himself is consecrating Jesus, not John's baptism.
@@TheKingAmongThem Did you not read the Dogmatic canon of Trent that Intellectual Takedown mentioned? Saying Jesus needed consecration is an abomination.

Dr. Pitre is absolutely not a Catholic. And this is not the first heresy he says, he also holds to the heresy of religious indifference.
So when did he become anointed? And by what means?
