Rich Girl is great and the rhythm is faster. Jordan would probably like it more.
Live from Daryl's House is a great show. He has different singers from the past and present on and they jam songs from the guest and Daryl. They also talk about their lives and why they wrote certain songs. It's fun I don't know where it's in but you can find some episodes on TH-cam.

Daryl Hall grew up in my hometown and as a teenager, I used to wait on his Dad, who would come in and always play his son's songs on the jukebox. He was so proud. A wonderful memory.

Karen, you absolutely need to hear Daryl's song "Perkiomen" that he plays from Daryl's House with guest Fritz and the Tantrums. As teenagers, he would walk across the Perkiomen bridge to go to John Oates's house. My ancestors were early farming settlers in the area on the banks of the Perkiomen.

I think that there’s been a loss of the ability to appreciate musical progression within a given work as opposed to just being immediately hit with the hook, and I think that that has had cumulatively detrimental effect on people’s ability to appreciate works of music as an art the goes beyond immediate gratification. Like the current ear of pop music feels like what if people could only see pointillist paintings from half an inch away.

That's because the attention span of people is so small. Music will never be the same now as it's born of technology and not talent most of the time. It's evident by their reaction to it. They couldn't even wait a couple minutes into the song. I am sure they are nice people but they show their age........

Please do some more from them!

Love Hall and Oats, but can't imagine anyone putting ELO to shame. But you saw them very early on in their career, so maybe they hadn't developed their live show very much yet.

Like others are saying, please check out their "Rich Girl". It was one of the very songs I heard on the radio back in 1977 (age 13) when I first started listening to the radio. I can pretty much PROMISE you'll love that one. Also "I Can't Go for That" is a fun one and then their cover of the Righteous Brothers "You Lost that Loving Feeling". I think one of their earliest hits was "Sarah Smile" - so smooth.

And in all sincerity ... y'all do take care of each other and that lovely offspring ... remember "Marriage" ain't about "Adults", it's about the Children ... keep it real, keep it open ... or as the "Beatles" said ...
"There's nothing you can do that can't be done
Nothing you can sing that can't be sung
Nothing you can say, but you can learn how to play the game
      It's easy
Nothing you can make that can't be made
No one you can save that can't be saved
Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time
      It's easy"
      Keep it real y'all !!!

I agree. I watch a few Reactors but these two are so real. Love the way they treat each other. Such heart and soul.
