Nice work Mike. As always! That cage looks sick painted with the body shell on and the white wheels to match (I know they’re aren’t the wheels you’ll be running but it ties in so well)
I think you should add a crossbar over the engine to the front chassis to make it stiffer. Connecting it up to the front crash structure won't do much for you. Painting the shell comes at a cost, you can't spot damage easily anymore. Whilst you still seem to have plenty of time still try to think about placement of components relative to the cog. The weight distribution you would like ( I'm not sure what your aiming for). You can move stuff like the fuel tank to almost any spot to finetune. I really enjoy these videos, have fun in japan

the bars for the strut tower support might restrict your steering angle if mounted straight from the front to the underside of the tower. atleast that's what it looked like to me and with it being a drift car I think you're gonna need a bunch of free space for that steering angle

Will the "shell" be permanently fixed to the "Chassis".? may have heard you say in pervious vids.! might make engine "maintenance/replacement" a bit difficult. Seeing the chassis and shell "detached" make for great visualization.

It prob weighs about 1200kg with the body on it. But over all really good progress mike you will have it finished before my by birthday in the 12th of January
My guess for weight is arround 850-900kg as there is basically nothing left from the BMW and the rotary engine is also extremly light furthermore there is not more than a few 100kg of fiberglass on top which is way lighter than the original body either way you only add weight by adding the rollcage which is more than necessary as it is the only thing holding it all together 😂😂😂😂👍🏻 Greetings

I end up having to turn it down when it comes on then back up again every time you speak and it gets kinda tedious. Other than that though, cars looking siiiiick and I can't wait to see it sideways! 3 weeks? I have cars done in 3 days 1.5 days prep .5 or rest of 2nd day plastic 3rd day paint And thats professionally done, also if fill prep done in one day, Obviously it'll be done in 2 👌🏼helps us heaps

Maybe don’t mount the bars for the strut support too far forward incase you hit something front on and your strut towers end up out of wack

You should hit the underside with undercoat at least once more. One coat won't be very durable
