I went to some mall in Pennsylvania a couple of months ago, and I stopped in FYE to buy one CD. I saw a Scott Pilgrim POP Vinyl that I didn't even know existed, so I had to get that. When I went to check out, the cashier told me that Pop Vinyls were by one get 75% off, so I wound up getting that same Mega Man one. THEN the cashier asked me if I'd got Civil War yet, since it'd just came out that day. I intended on spending maybe $7 in that FYE, but I left $50 poorer. Then I went to Goodwill and bought a mug the shape of Donald Duck's ass. It was quite a day.
I'm more of a Playstation person because I grew up watching my older brother play through Final Fantasy games (The PS1 Era). One of my early memories of gaming is playing through Sonic 2 on my Sega Genesis (model 2), blowing on the cartridge to get it to work properly. Then, I got into Kingdom Hearts because it was a mixture of Disney and Final Fantasy (a selling point for most of the fans at the time besides the complicated narrative and multiple games on different consoles (glad that Square Enix is trying to fix it with the HD Remixes)). I don't like most of the modern trends in gaming like FPS's, Online Multiplayer, and Microtransactions. Gaming was so much simpler back then.
For Christmas, I got money, fruits, food, and I even got gift certificates to a fancy department store. Over the years, I've saved up enough certificates for a suit. XD
Andre, I was recently watching your "Worst of 2015" and couldn't help but wonder when your Best/Worst of 2016 would show up. Although if you do it, knowing how this year's been, it'd probably be a couple of hours long ;)
My favorite thing was the Gremlins in the background. What I got for Christmas is a Sega Genesis Ultimate Portable Game Player, it comes with 80 built in Sega Genesis games, so really happy I got that! Happy Holidays everyone!
Andre "Black Nerd" My sister had a Dr. Who cup that had the same colour changing thing. One trip in the dishwasher and the entire sticker was gone. I'd hate to see it happen to such a cool glass like yours. The stickers they use are absolute garbage I'm afraid.
I got a ZX Spectrum Vega, Zelda Twilight Princess HD, a Link amiibo, a Pokémon Z-Ring toy, an Xbox One controller and a new pair of headphones. My favorite thing you got was the Pac-Man plug and play that's shaped like Pac-Man himself.

I got my 8 year old son lego dimensions and i gotta say, even though many of the reviews said it was a ripoff, we had a lot of fun building all the pieces and played it all day. I got the Simpsons, LOTR, and DC character add ons as well. The game itself I thought was not too shabby and the idea was pretty creative. I can see how some people would think that it's a ripoff, but if you get it like a Christmas present like I did and dedicate a whole day of just playing it with someone then i think that is the best way to do it.
I like the Sonic statue! I got a Boo figurine, microphone, Xbox controller for PC, food, money, movie theater giftcards, and a certificate to go go-karting all from friends/family I know :) and my birthday is in January. The only problem is that for the rest of the year, I get no gifts because my birthday and Christmas are crammed into a couple of weeks :|
I got Dragon Ball Fusions for Nintendo 3DS, and a couple of dvds (Justice League vs. Teen Titans, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, and Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Gotham City Breakout).
I just watched a video of you and Katie Wilson talk about her coming over, making you throw stuff away and donate things. I wondering she knew that she was just making room for new stuff. I swear, you're gonna be the most interesting episode of Hoarders one day. 😂😂
