    Quick note about the coffin corner I forgot to mention: Whilst the information I say in the video is technically correct, in practice the critical mach number may not actually be the issue, since it can be lower than Mmo (Mach maximum operating) on modern swept wing jets. The shock induced separation and stability problems occur above the drag divergence mach number, which is the speed you really want to stay away from!

    Pilot Jonathan = new favourite aviation channel. Your videos are both incredibly education while still being easy to understand and also very inspiring! I'm 20 years old and have been saving for my flight training flat for 4 years now. I hope one day I can be in a similar position to yourself. Thank you mate for your hard work and inspiration.

    these videos are so interesting, thank you! it was my dream to be a pilot but unfortunately I'm deaf, so instead I love watching these kinds of videos so I can feel involved in the aviation world. my new favourite channel, thank you ‪♡‬

    Hey, great vid once again. Watching your vids lately does help me feel motivated in my studies though it's about programming/coding but somehow I think it still relates to aviation a bit in terms of programs or softwares that are used in planes nowadays. Anyway I have a question, how can you possibly get out of the coffin corner safely if you happen to be caught in it?

    • @PilotJonathan
      @PilotJonathan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, great that it helps you motivate! As for the coffin corner, the whole thing is simplified a bit, however looking at the graph you could say that the only real way to get out of it is to descend to a lower altitude, or throw some weight over board to increase buffet margins!

    Hey there, just found this channel. I am little confused are you Lithuanian flying for LOT, or polish training in Lithuania? Thanks 👍

    • @PilotJonathan
      @PilotJonathan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha, neither, I'm Austrian training in Lithuania for LOT 😂

      @@PilotJonathan oh right, I couldn't tell the accent? So I'm British and say I get in the cadet programme for LOT or someone is that possible as I don't speak polish?

    • @PilotJonathan
      @PilotJonathan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, there's no requirement to speak polish to fly for LOT

    There NO Lift `force` and NO Drag `force`, it is Aerodynamic force. Lift and Drag are just components in coordinate system.

    • @vlatkopopovski2685
      @vlatkopopovski2685 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is wrong approach researching the creation of Lift force and Low pressure at upper side of the wing. I explain the aerodynamic cavitation and existence of Lee side aerocavern, and creation of Aerodynamic force

    • @PilotJonathan
      @PilotJonathan  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vlatkopopovski2685 I'm not sure what part of the video you're referring to - and whilst yes, drag and lift are components of the aerodynamic force, you'll for example find a lot of training material calling the components forces by themselves as well
