I’m young so I had never used a film camera before. I found this camera last year at a yard sale after being obsessed with the idea of film photography for years and finally was able to shoot film for the first time. This video made me realize I had been loading the film wrong and shot a blank roll. Thank you for the video, I probably would have continued doing it wrong.
I have a Retina Reflex 3 and it really is my favorite camera. There is really something special about these cameras. It's too bad that Kodak didn't keep it going.
Yes, it counts down so you know how many shots you have left. Before you start taking photos you set the counter to the number of shots on your film (you change the counter by turning it anti-clockwise)
So my grandpa recently gave me one of these because he had no clue how to work it and thought I might be able to. I thought I had most of it down and it was working, but then I pressed the little button next to the wind up part and now it's locked it won't wind and I have no clue how to fix the issue. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated :)
The film advance lever gets locked when the film counter reaches number 1. If this is the case in your camera you might reset the counter by sliding the counter reset button.

Check out Chris Sherlock's channel if you are going to attempt a repair.

Mmm, The Doors
The music does not compare to the time of that camera....
