    Another masterpiece for us all! I gotta say man, your videos help. Earlier this year, late last year I discovered your channel and it was the best thing for me. I was very intimidated, and scared, to purse CS as a degree but I decided to commit to it and it was the best thing I did! I just completed my fall semester and it was great. Aced my CS lab and the course (python) and I gotta say I love python 😂 I’m gonna miss it when I do C++ next semester 😪 nonetheless, keep these videos up, please! I am considering starting a channel like this too for people like me who were scared or are scared to pursue it and you’re the inspiration for this idea. You should definitely make a playlist on making a legit app from ideation to deployment, that would be awesome! Anyhow, thank you for all the videos man and thank you for being an inspiration 🙏

      @fknight  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Much appreciated, Tanner. I’m glad I could help! Creating an app on the channel was actually my plan for a while, but my off-time that I dedicate to my personal work is spent making videos. Once I free up some time from my full time job, then I’ll pursue my app a bit more.

      I have the same issue. I get distracted by the music because I start paying attention to the intricacies of it. For that reason, coding in silence is usually the best solution for me.

      @@jacobedsell8850 For me it depends. I also get really focused on the intricacies of the music I'm listening to and I'm one of those guys that can't help it but sing along. Now, if I already know what I want to do I can just go with the flow and code while singing and giving a bit of focus to the music (I know this is not the best thing to do cuz I could possibly be making some mistakes that I'd be unaware of) but if I get stuck on a bug or suddenly lose track of my plan for that problem It's really hard for me to work on a solution while the music's playing. So 50/50 on the same boat as you

    Hey Forrest, there's one video I've always wanted to see you make and I'm almost certain you haven't done it yet. I would love to see a video where you go through your college transcript and talk about the CS classes you took, which ones were helpful, which ones you'd recommend or suggest staying away from. One problem I'm having right now is trying to decide what courses may be the most beneficial to me. I've already got my classes for the spring semester but I catch myself going back to them and thinking that they're almost useless to take, especially because some of them are considered to most as obsolete languages. Thoughts?
