Gotta be one of the best videos you've ever produced. Top notch car, top notch driver and the most amazing roads your ever featured. Oh and that engine + supercharger sound.
This comment will probably get buried and I say it all with the most respect possible; but this content is exactly what LLF grew from - viewer cars that are ATTAINABLE for the masses - not hypercars and 150k builds (every major UK car feature channel is now on this vibe).... this video today is what the audience care about and social pops off for.....the previously mentioned "new vibe" of max flex and bare minimum humility is 'growing old fast'. Keep this coming, Ricky! (we probably need another Q&A video again soon, too!)
Totally agree, actually getting fed up of twin turbo lambo builds. Problem is people like us are becoming a rare breed, they just want dsg pop and bang bollocks now
Great video ricky. This car and owner are awesome love builds that get properly used. Wish car reviews were more like this. Driven on proper roads. Should come to Scotland next year do a review on my k20a crx. Do some scottish roads maybe even on track at knockhill.
Proud s2k owner here. Ricky you might remember me ragging it passed you and saying hello when you were filming that colt turbo in somerset/chew Valley lake
I was smashing these roads last month , Wales is the absolute nuts. Views and the maddest twisty roads. Im a Londoner but since coming back have been missing Wales,Its on another level. So much so I'm looking at properties there. Anyone who loves the twisty roads and views has to visit Wales.
A PT6262 turbo is what we all do out here in the states. Nobody messes with the supercharger route because youre not getting the best bang for buck power wise. Any form of forced induction is needed on an s2000 to be up to today’s standards but turbo is the way to go if you want to go fast.
Tbh I've noticed barely anyone does turbo on S2000 over here, pretty everyone supercharges. The problem is it doesn't solve the lack of low end and midrange, it's just strong top end
Ricky just a suggestion u would love to know what these dudes do for work if they want to tell. It would be awsome for us car enthusiasts to know what is needed to live this life in all countries :) Great video!
Ricky is one of the rare guys who really appreciate other people's cars; he respects all grades equally. His evaluations are to educate himself about your construction and to get an appreciation for the time and effort required; I hope you make a trip to SOUTH AFRICA at some time; My vehicle is waiting for you.
That's your best video by far Ricky. Car plus road equals perfection, and car built for the road is the way to go. Forget the airfield, circuit nonsense; pick your roads, then build the best car for them. Set the chassis up, then set it up some more. And most important, useable power, specc'ing your engine- turbo combination for gest response on the road, not on the dyno or dragstrip. That way you can build a car that can be properly used every day, a possible contender for a point to point challenge. And then move to rural Scotland, Wales or Ireland, where we can llf every day and night
Ricky, just a suggestion but would love it if you could get a better mic setup for when you guys are chatting, the volume is a lot quieter than the rest of the video, but love your videos some of the best on TH-cam. Keep it up 👊
now that's what you call amazing roads, holy shit!, Wales is a beautiful place, my Dad has lived there for many, many years, the scenery is gobsmacking, definitely worth a look as is Scotland i'll have to go find them roads myself! where were they?, Also stunning car, always love an S2000, especially a modified one, you have done an amazing job with the car Ross, thats a real owner right there, had the car 10+ years, thats how cars should be! too many people buy brand new ones they can barely afford on pcp to try and look flash, well this looks more flash and you won't see bugger all of them on the road!, keep enjoying life Ross!, fantastic footage as always Ricky
Such a great car & roads, love it! Shame about the weather, do it again next summer! Wish I still had one! Had similar setup but TTS SC with stealth standard look in black. Just imagine a better world where Honda kept developing this car and now had an 11,000 RPM V8 3.0, and then you add a supercharger! 1999 this engine came out, a true legend!
I used to have Supercharged S2000 its a different kind of fast even with only have 380BHP… it’s scary fast…. I can still remember the thrill. It’s a very special feeling my GT3RS can’t give me 🤣.
Welsh gang!! Come on ricky the Welsh mountains are the best roads, and that's only 1 mountain you were on there. There's plenty of those roads in the beacons! Sick car and video my bro 👊
Perfect setting, minus the rain. This is video is a winner. Sorry that you couldn't give it the beans Ricky. But hey, he did say it's getting re tuned. That's an excuse to go back.
Thought I recognised the road, that mountain is at the back of my house 😂 I’ve got a supercharged mini so when that’s finished you’ll have to come back for some more Welsh roads.
When people say they're about the "culture", they need to check this vid. Ricky be like allow everything and he wants to move to middle of nowhere so he can drive everyday.
respect the man for taking it easy through the 30 Zones. I'm sure he gets shitty looks when tanking it on the nationals but those Hypocrites will be speeding through the 30 zones where there are actually people around and won't have nearly as much awareness of the livestock. Handy driver there.
One thing I learned about Wales is you need to be ready to do a quick spin around in the road to outrun the Welsh traffic police waiting for you and second there are loads of Welsh guys with absolute sleeper cars lol

This guy is NEVER late for work.
He is if his back wheels are always spinning and burning up lol. Proper sick looking s2000 man. Love it
I’d be late every day as I’d drive the road 4 times each way haha
Not if you take the scenic B road route to work 😄
unless the inevitable happens, no petrol/diesel at pump. Oh wait..

Some of the best roads up in Wales. Get the evo up there

I love Ricky’s nervous laugh when the drivers are being a little wild! I find myself laughing at the nervousness.
He doesn't wanna be the "please slow down just a bit" guy but he's seriously concerned for his life, this is how he copes
@@styre 😂
The roads are something else all I can say is this guy is living the dream.
One thing you can't fault wales for.. Our roads❤️
You can say that again
And the people im from nottingham, love south wales tenby Saundersfoot on a nice day dnt need to be anywhere else
I think more power in this car would actually be a downgrade seems like he can enjoy every bit of the car as it is

The roads up In The Welsh bills are epic, just gotta watch out for sheep and other livestock. Beautiful scenery really adds to a gd drive
The roads are beautiful. Country life is the lick. Bout time people realise!
Exactly, took covid for a lot of people to realize lol

I've been up the Brecon beacons many of times with the army. The roads in the north wales are just as good.
They can be, but there isn’t as many good roads. Pretty much all the NSL roads there are a drivers paradise.
Yes!! Been waiting for this little weapon to drop 👌🏻
07:22 the most Welsh thing a Welsh person can say, great video, and love the car, the lads a great driver to.
