I have the new Evolution but have never flown it. I had a Timber X but it finally died after a few too many crashes. I want another one; that was a cool little plane.

Great video. I think the Evolution will be the best UMX. As soon as I ware out my UMX Timber X, I'll have to get the Evolution.

I have the turbo Timber flew the heck out of it love it on my second one now. I did get the turbo Timber evolution. Lots of people having problems with it and it's crashing the servos are locking up, even at setting the throws at 95%

There are three that fly regularly where i fly including mine. I haven't seen that frozen servo issue on any of them. I have seen it on the ultrix and the previous turbo timber. Those linear servos aren't my favorite. Any particles of dust can cause the servo to lock up. And yes, on any of them, going over 100% throw can cause them to fail. Older umx planes with the older generation linear servos were much worse. I've seen those freeze up just because they haven't flown in a while. Usually, turning the gear a few times fixes them. Im not sure any of the linear ones are that reliable but they use them to keep the weight and costs down. A compromise. They do make regular servos with similar weight and performance but i assume they aren't as cheap as linears.

Have fun with it! Just so you know. I used a gens Ace 450 mah 3s at first. Found the plane to work very well with it but slow speed seemed like it could be better. So I tried a 3s 300. That seems to be the sweet spot for this plane. Much better slow speed handling and still rips!

Are they keeping the size a secret? Is it 1500mm? Thank you in advance!

They look nice I'm just into scale planes. Get the Draco that's a plane I love to fly bc it's just a lot difference in my lineup

Everyone's different. I guess that's what's nice about this hobby. Plenty of options. I tried flying the Draco and it wasn't for me. It seems to fly heavy. But I know others that do love it. It is beautiful though!

IF they made a 1300mm DRAKO that ran off 4s I would definitely own one. If I was to get a bigger Bush Plane, it would definitely be the Avios Grand Tundra. The 1300mm Durafly Tundra is nearly the perfect Bush Plane. I have 493 recorded flights on it now. 90 % dirt road landings.
