So. Much. Snow! Inspires me to want to learn to ski. The enthusiasm you have for your craft has been refreshing to watch. Can't wait to see what else ADH has to offer as the shred season comes to a close.
You NEED to come back to Massanutten. It's closed but it's gonna get some nice freshies soon. By freshies, I mean rain, warm rain. So jealous, also awesome videos.
Awesome trip to close out the season, that looked amazing! Can't wait to see your Timberline footage from this past weekend if you got out there. 7 Springs was decent, but I saw Timberline had another 17" of snow and was totally bummed my buddy didn't want to take an extra hour to get down there, lol. I almost pulled a Saturday detour on my way home, but figured it was packed and I have to get back to work this week.
Unfortunately didn't make it to Timberline!!! I missed out. Headed this weekend to Snowshoe for the final weekend of the Mid-Atlantic! Had to make up for the missed weekend! How was 7 springs?
@@ADHski That's a shame, but hopefully Snowshoe will be solid and the crowds won't be too bad. 7 Springs was ok, I've honestly never been a huge fan of it since the runs are so short and I'm used to Timberline going 1.5+ miles on almost every run. It was also a bit annoying they charged full price $90-100 for lift tickets and only had like 14 trails open, with just two of the diamonds open and them both being on opposite sides of the mountain so if you wanted to mix it up you had to keep skiing between two lifts. A lot of the locals in the bar were upset with Vail, saying they just bought it from the prior cheap owner(Nutting was notorious in Pittsburgh for being cheap, especially with the Pirates, lol), raised prices, and haven't put any money back into it so they can hit profits. Was still a fun day, just felt like we wound up riding the lift more than we skied with how short the trails are, lol.
@@TeKnoVKNG23 I know man, I was thinking I hope teKno understands!! Timberline is definitely that sweet spot for crowds and quality skiing in the mid-a! I've heard those same thoughts as well. LOL yes the lifts can be slow, I hope you didn't have to deal with lines! Looking forward to getting up to Pittsburgh this summer for a Pirates game!
@@ADHski No lines, it was a Thursday and they had a decent crowd, but we basically had it to ourselves all day and even for a bit of night skiing. I think if I do future Timberline trips it will be midweek, because the times I was up there on Wed/Thur the conditions were incredible and it was a ghost town, lol. Plus lodging is a bit cheaper midweek.

What skis do you use?
I use K2 Mindbender 85's for now. Definitely too narrow for where I was, but didn't want to deal with rentals out there!
