Pavs hands are actually elite. I don’t care who he’s playing against his stickhandling skills are among the top in the world
@@VacouverCanucks he has nhl quality hands, however his sense, speed, shot and all other facets of his game are not on the same level as his puck skills. He’s a guy they could bring in for an all star game shoot out to entertain the fans but wouldn’t be able to compete with the best of the best. He did a 1v1 shootout with Aleksander Barkov, and I don’t remember the difference between the puck handling to be much at all. I’m not saying he could be a pro, but more like he has a part of his game among the best on earth
@@VacouverCanucks There is a video of him doing figure 8 stick handling rotations, competing against Connor McDavid. They tied. That says something.

So if barber is this good but still can’t make it to the NHL. Just imagine how good McDavid is, he makes NHL players look like rookies.
Every top 6 ECHL player can make beer league players look like bantam BB. Barber has good hands but he lacks size, strength, power, skating comparing to pros, even in low-tier european leagues. Stickhandling is the "less" important thing to be a good hockey player
Barber still has legendary hands regardless of his level though and would certainly be at the top tier of the NHL in stick handling.
That's what make NHLers, especially elite NHLers such so special. They usually have multiple skills where they have elite capabilities.
Pavel doesn't need to be in the NHL and I'm sure he's having fun being an entertainer. He's just taken a different route sort of like Street basketball players like "The Professor." I bet Pavel has a better impact on the growing the game and entertaining people, than if he was in the NHL. Pavel is a future hall of famer as far as I'm concerned. 😀

he coaches some nhl players and whoever sai he only has the handling are wrong. Guy has everything imo, hands, vision, edgework, balance etc
