Oh man, I remember that thunderstorm at Firefly. First ever music festival, and I was the house programmer for one of the smaller stages. That was one heck of a night trying to load in and program. Thanks for sharing, and bringing back good memories!

While 2021 will show gradual improvement, large scale touring will not happen until 2022. Covid is still a big thing through June, and it takes 6 months or more lead time to organize a tour. So will 2021 be any good? No. It will be a stepping stone, but income will suck overall. Things should get rolling for real next year at this time.
Hey Christian, got a question for ya (or anyone else who knows). I've always done either timecode, cued, or freehand shows. You've shown how to get timecode out of a CDJ but how do you timecode a show or control the lights when the artists are mixing live through the CDJs?

Is MyDMX worthless to use at a professional music festival?
Almost completely worthless. I suppose you could use it to run some uplights along a wall or something. But even then I’d rather use a basic hardware controller rather than mydmx
