- I managed to locate 2nd controller code for Tenchu 2 enabling a semi multiplayer experience in this great game!
At first i used Tenchu 1's debug menu and cycled between spawning characters with player 1 and player 2 and discovered that it was close to the health block i decided to then try this in Tenchu 2 as i know the health block is very similar and manged to locate where the controller code is!
Big thanks to Modern Ninja for discovering and documenting all the ID's for the characters to hack the map editor ID! And thanks to I am me for inspiring me to hack these old tenchu games!

I can only wish for a TENCHU remake with online co op for both Rikimaru and Ayame 🔥
Well the Acquire President has expressed interest in bringing tenchu back to the ps5 so hopefully!! There was a fan project that had split screen co-op called tenchu all stars if you look that up on TH-cam and view their channel. But it never got released sadly

Sadly I don't think that is possible. Savestates playing as bosses can be made. All the hacks I know of can only be done in real time on emulator. If you wish to play as a boss without it being the 2nd player, Modern ninja did a tutorial on his TH-cam channel using his chest table :)

my pc was selling to my friends 4 years ago and i never playing any emulator again since i know epsxe already on android

@@oneforall3690 Ahh I see. Yes sadly you will need a pc as I'm not aware of anything like cheat engine on Android
install the same emulator and cheat engine does not recognize anything nor does hp let me track
I use an older version of the bizhawk emulator here. However they updated it to use the new core nymashock which has broken alot of things including my cheat tables. Change your core in bizhawk to octoshock. I think it's going to be phased out so I might have to update this tutorial at some stage.
It does work in other emulators too but in cheat engine make sure MEM_MAPPED option is ticked in cheat engines settings under scan settings

@@tomasfernandez6838 ohhh damn! sorry ive been awolish from youtube it looks like he's taken his video of the mod release down! another person to check out for reverse battles is "i am me" . emulators get updated so much that tables break all the time, i was thinking of updating this with duckstation/retroarch ps1 emulators as thats what everyone uses

Hello bro can you hack Shinobido way of the ninja ps2 and unlock all characters in mission editor? Actually there is an error in mission 33 that destroy oxcart and the error can not let you have 100% so no one can unlock all characters there , also some errors like there is no lights🕯️ in mission editor maps + no compass there only in the story mode . and if you can hack the map and make it bigger so that will be so cool . It is 50w - 50d or you can change it to 60/40 | 70,80/30 | 120/20 | 250/10
So if you can make it 250/250 so it will be so big map ❤ also with unlimited materials to building a castle ❤❤❤ . I hope you accept my request please 🙏🥺 this is so important for me because I'm making Shinobido 3 fan animation so if you can help me with this so the story will be so cool 😎 .

I've had a little session of hacking shinobido but had no luck changing the map editor size sadly
@MasterRedAssassin so .. can you unlock all characters? it is 1 thing if you can do it that make all missions in mission editor = 100% so the characters will unlocked 🔓 . after that if you do it so you can save the game from options in the game play list ( inside the game ) so even you open the game without cheat engine after that so they will still unlocked 😉🔥 .
You wish a mod that can select characters in the mission editor like in Takumi? That's impossible. That feature doesn't exist in WOTN, even with the power of hacking and CE (Cheat Engine). No matter how powerful the level of modification is, it cannot be undone. Even Lord Geese and Shadow Runner can't do that
@@sk8er_rk76yes, I understand what you're thinking. That would be great and all, having to unlock characters instantly like in Takumi, so we can play them without hacking. But that's just impossible, I'm telling you. Because the feature simply doesn't exist in the game, only in Takumi. Even the power of modding has its limits, it can't change what's already been done by the developers
@@HuntingRedLeaves i think the only real alternative way to play as all the other characters in the mission editor/ have them 'unlocked' is just swap the character templates for the main and npc characters in the table i provided. If we could see the sourecode then we would be able to achieve more. Luckily some of the tenchu knowledge helped from its sourcecode but i found shinobio hacking for otherstuff quite challenging
